Out of the passages, the only one close to what I was asking for was one that stated men who "burned in their lust for one another... is shameful". The others, as I've said before, they are a strong case against SODOMY and not the love/attraction part of homosexuality. Again, intercourse, or the lust for it, does not replace true intimacy.

I'm not asking if they'd go to Hell or not, I'm just asking if it'd still be considered sinful or if they are condemned by the Bible for LOVE alone.

And again, I still have not seen the actual word "homosexuality" in any of those passages, just words/phrases describing the actions thereof.

Look, you won't find homoesexuality being used in scripture... homosexuals were called sodomizers in the bible... unless you want to use a new international version of the bible... loving a man, is not wrong. the bible teachs that you should love everyone. Homosexuality IS the act of lusting over another man. I love all my guy friends. this doesn't mean that I am sexually attracted to them.

Is that right? So to summarize, according to you, even homosexuals who choose abstinence should still be condemned? Did you understand what I meant by "true intimacy"? Do you think that true intimacy=lust?

Just as us heterosexuals can love homosexuals can love as well. It is rather sad (depressing), presumptuous, and arrogant that you would define homosexuality simply as one man lusting after another. It is the same saying no one else but you (or Christians) can understand what love really is.

It is faulty to think that sodomy is only practiced by homosexuals. You may (or may not) know this, but anal sex is nothing new to many, many heterosexual couples. So, if those who sodomizes are sinful, many straight folks are just as guilty as homosexuals. Heck, the Bible may even be refering to all who have butt sex, homosexuals and straight folks alike. To single out just homosexuals is not telling things as they are.

You may not be sexually attracted to your male friends, therefore it is wrong for anyone else to be in that situation? Why would you use yourself as an example, when it's obvious that you're not gay. You know what, I realized I've been off topic for quite a while now...

maybe this will clear things up...

Jesus can't have sex or homosexual because his only purpose was to spread the words of chrisainity. Yes, he may have a lot of disciples who are men, but back at that time men have more power then women. The women doesn't have that much rights.

According to the bible Jesus was perfect. Perfection means not even a tiny drop of sin. Homosexual, lies, sex, masterbation..etc is Sin. So overall, Jesus loves everybody like brothers and sisters. Not sexually

XD of course... I don't know any christians who would question Jesus being gay XD

Yea, I've already posted in that thread before and the ones before it. About two years ago, I was completely agaist gay marriage, now I'm just iffy about it but I get irritated when people speak against homosexuals... but I digress (again). I posted in this thread in response to someone answering my question finally... from last year. I guess I was off topic last year, too. Hah!

My brother was late for Church this morning since service was around 9ish... I had to wake him up running.

You are right about the bible ot talking about intimate homosexual relationships, but I guess it comes to a piont where you are accually testing God with what you can and cannot do... I'm afriad that people could be manipulating the bible or taking it out of context so that people can feel ok about getting married to someone of the same sex. For me it's matter of i don't know whether it's wrong or not, and personally (because you connot prove it either way... the bible isn't that detailed) I believe that it would be wrong for me to become homosexual because I would be taking the risk of sinning for my own human desires (ugh... that made me sound so gay.. think of that as hypothetical).

I don't hate homosexuals. I hate homosexuality.

If Jesus was in fact gay, even though by God's standards people believe that God created Man and Woman therefore being gay is a sin (I mean I dont believe this) but if it is true by God's standards..then why would he make himself gay? I mean Jesus afterall IS God. whistling.gif

I don't think you can base anything off of the Da Vinci Code, it's fiction. Pretty sure the Pope said you shouldn't read it anyways.

I have one question or two or more.

If Jesus was human, did he have any erections? Did he masturbate? Did he get morning wood? Did he look at girls? Did he have wet dreams?

Sorry. I'm thinking too much.

If Jesus wanted an orgasm, he didn't have to take the time to work it and rub it off. He didn't look at girls, he made them appear in front of him. Wet dreams? Floods imo. Basically any chuck norris sex joke could apply to Jesus.

"Let's all blindly believe what a man elected by men say." If God does actually exists, his thousands of years of uninvolvement have allowed whatever lessons he had to be so misconstrued and misinterpreted that there is no possible way we can ever know for sure. People in modern times are so ignorant when it comes to religion. People don't want to hear of the Catholic church's bloody history and it's cleansing of "The Word." The Bible exists as they've allowed it to exist. There are books and chapters and vital characters all missing so that the reader of the bible will get the flat message, not the full content. The church believes it's purpose is to purify the world of sin, so of course they're gonna edit the Bible the way they think would work most efficiently. I do not trust one word from the Bible, because I cannot say 100% that this is either what was originally said, or the thoughts of men who wanted their beliefs spread throughout the world. Who is to truly say that Homosexuality is a sin? There is no possible way anyone on earth was around when the original documents were written, so anything and everything in the Bible is open to argument.

Read what I put above.

Again, there is no possible way you can know that and just saying it blindly like you are doing is pure human ignorance. "I was told, and so it is." If you don't allow yourself to question, what use are you? Your opinion is worthless. You cannot say beyond a reasonable doubt that Jesus never married, never had children. The catholic church deitized him through a vote, similiar to the way they choose Saints, and popes.

The answer is simple. Yes. This is an obvious answer to an uneducated question. Men have erections. Men have sexual thoughts. Why? Because that is the way we are, that is our nature. We are animals, whether or not the over-religious of us want to believe that, and as animals we have instincts. The instincts of all mammals are to eat, to sleep, and to reproduce. Just because we as intelligent humans have clouded our instincts with abstract thoughts like Love and Abstinence does not mean these instincts can be exhausted, merely controlled.

One can only hope.

But it is funny to me how psychotic these religious fanatics are when basically everything in the Bible is open to questioning. The fact that some people would disagree with me just for the sake of disagreeing just shows how retarded they are. My guess is that in the original bible, there was nothing written down about homosexuality or woman being inferior to men. History can be changed, over time, if the persons doing the changing are smart and ruthless. What is history but what has been written and documented. If all documentation of an event is erased, then that event is open to change.

F you for calling my question uneducated. I've seen people say that Jesus NEVER had orgasms or sexual thoughts or whatever. I just wanted to get other opinions!

I would have expected more from someone who spells their name with three a's. Oh no, do you have a speech impetement? Cause that would suck. I pity you for having one, if you in fact do.

... yeah. The only reason I chose 'Sandraaa' was because 'Sandra' was already taken, honey.

The bible portrays Jesus to be some kind of a superhuman. People DO think that Jesus never had erections. I've had this debate numerous times on other sites. It wasn't a dumb question rather weird.

Actually, you're the second person, besides myself, that has said yes, indeed, Jesus did get morning wood.
