Lol, good luck on your e-bay journey. Ive never been an e-bay fan or anything, but one of my old friends was, like, addicted to that place a few years ago.

ME ME ME! I love Ebay. God it's soooo addictive. >_< I am on it constantly, and I'm always adding stuff to my watch list... and when I'm close to the end of the bidding time, I get so competitive and intense. ^_^

Ugh, there's this seller selling two "authentic, new" Marc Jacobs stam bags for only around 50. They have NO feedback whatsoever, so I'm worried about bidding on them. >_<
--

HOW TO WIN YOUR EBAY ITEM:

Last 30 seconds, post your MAXIMUM bid (the most you would ever spend on that item). Chances are, you're gonna get it for way cheaper than you're actually willing to pay (unless someone wants that item more) AND no one will have time to guess who much you bid. :D

What will that do? If you post your maximum bid wouldn't the owner sell it you for that much?

Clearly, I don't know the works. :P

For some reason it doesn't do that. Putting in the maximum bid that you'll do makes it automatically outbid anyone that bids underneath that. For instance:

You want purse x
current bid is 22$
You bid 40, you would think it would put up 40, but nope, not so. It puts up 23$ or w/e. Someone comes along and bids 24$, but since you put 40 down, it automatically bumps it to 25$ and outbids the other person. It will keep auto outbidding people until you get to your limit or the auction expires.

Hahaha, damn, that's wonderful. I'm signing up when I can afford to spend needlessly.

Nope. It's called "automatic bidding" and it's a gift for all who know how to use it to their advantage. Basically, let's say it's the last 5 minutes and the most recent bid is $5. You want it BADLY so you're willing to pay $30. It puts your next bid as $6, but if someone comes along and tries to bid $7, then it puts your bid as $8. It keeps bidding for you until it someone passes your maximum.

That's why I say do it in the last few seconds, when nobody has time to work their way up.

yea i know how that works.

Its funny cause the first time i tried buying something on ebay it was me and my dad. we were wondering how come there was automatically another bid after we just upped it one buck. we were like huh? lmao. yea but there was only me and one other guy bidding. so we gave up but since i was watching the item they sent me an email saying someone else joined in on the bid and he won by only bidding once. So in the end he did that automatic bidding thing.

but i feel bad so far only 14 people looked at my item lol i already payed 1.05 to list the item. SO IMMA LOSE MONEY. SHIET ! lol haha

someone come on buy my phone ! lol imma have to give it away if it doesnt work.

If she's paying through Paypal, you will receive an email when she pays. Withdraw the money into your bank account, wait for it to appear in your bank account then ship it.

Naw. It's in your Paypal account until you withdraw it. You could just leave it in there if you plan on shopping online though. Either way, the money is yours!

Congrats on your first sell thumbsup.gif
