um...they were illegal immigrants, not saying I dislike immigrants or anything, but I'd prefer it if they came in the country legally.

Where I live they just deported about 300 illegal immigrants from 1 factory during 1 shift.

When my dad was alive he got laid off there, and they just hired a bunch of illegal immigrants because they took less pay. It happens and it's sad but it's more the fault of the business owners than it is the fault of the Mexicans because the business owners are hiring them.

The thing that bothers me the most is most of the Mexicans where I live only speak enough English to buy and sell drugs, or to hit on fat girls. I learned some Spanish, can't they learn a little English too?

I could have taken the easy way and flew there and then pretended i was a tourist but no i went though the whole f**king painstaking process.

I think that becoming a U.S. citizen takes a hell of a lot longer than becoming a citizen of Ireland.

Not trying to start an even bigger problem/argument about this. But honestly considering how many Asian people are a part of this website i would think that immigrants would have a little bit more support. I'm not trying to get anyone angry but not every Asian immigrated here LEGALLY. not all Mexicans immigrate here ILLEGALLY either. I just find it very depressing that so many people can't support something that is apart of all of our families history. Unless you're 100% American Indian you have no right to be against immigrants because you don't know which of your relatives immigrated here legally or not.

Why do people try to use that American Indian argument? It was way different back then. There weren't strict immigration laws...there might not have even been immigration laws. Immigration was encouraged.
