I would say alternative/rockish with a little pop in it. I would say he sings songs like John Mayer, Howie Day, and Jack Johnson.

You dont know Jack Johnson? He's got to be one of the best acoustic songwriters out there! He's my idol when it comes to learning new songs on the geeetarrrr.
check out his songs Banana Pancakes, and Better Together. Don't know if its your taste, but the songs are very lovely to the ears. |

oh yeah and my bio teacher went to college with jack johnson and said he was one of the losers who sat on the couches and played with guitars at parties. |
