I have this weird daydream every now and then in which my house catches on fire and I have just thirty seconds to grab my precious belongings and go, go, go. And really, it scares the hell out of me. I'd be sitting there, daydreaming, and my heart would be racing because I cannot think of what I'd bring, because I know that if it really were to happen, I probably won't be thinking, just reacting.

So in my head, I sort of have a plan (Can anyone say influenced-by-Worst-Case-Scenario-books?), I'd make sure my family will be safe, then I would grab my biiig red Hello Kitty blanket and a huge bag of my collection of stuffed animals who's most recent addition was just a couple of years ago.

The iPod, the schoolthings, the cell phone, etc. - all replacable. But in my head, I'm just scared they will be the first things I reach for because sometimes, sadly, they're the things I value most.

I've got a mental picture of myself trying to push my PC hardrive out my two storey window... hopeing it'll land safely on the cement driveway below.

(Family &) Besides my computer, which, sadly, is everything to me... ipod, phone, uhh.. Harry Potter collection... perhaps my photo album, few clothes... depending on whether the fire was located at the back or front of the house, I'd just tip it all out my window ><

Guitar, journals, all electronic devices, purse, jeans.

Screw my family, Id rather save my stuff first.

Like someone else said, I would start chunking all of my crap out my window and hope it doesnt break after falling two stories.

But Id probably carry my guitar out, I dont think it would survive the fall.

Family and then I'd grab some money and phone to call the cops or something. But in 30 seconds, I'd probably just make sure there's no one in the house and run out.

I'd make sure my family's safe. Then take my doll, yes my DOLL. and if my wallet/cell/ipod are in reach, then that too.

I always plan these things out in my head. no idea why. I'll just randomly play a scene in my mind.

^ It's like when you lie awake at night figuring out ways to break into your own house.

I'd probably toss the beer out of my bedroom window. If I didn't, this place is liable to go near-mushroom cloud if there was a fire.

Sigh. Um..my cats for sure somehow. My computer. My purse. Wahh...all my expensive shoes! Sigh.

I'm horrible I know. And my parents aren't home much so they'd be fine.

I would make sure my familys out of the house, then I would grab my hampster, fish and two cats :)

(My hampster just recently underwent surgery, just something random that popped into my head while reading my response.)
