Or more certainly, your face. Who has had any face piercings ? I've had snakebites but I did them myself, so since I was doing it it didn't really hurt that much. But like people say, when you're the one doing it as opposed to someone else doing it, it wont hurt as much. Im actually getting "venombites" done, which is two lower lip piercings done side by side ( or two lip piercings on the tongue side by side ) and im excited and nervous ! I've heard whole bunches of different stories from it barely hurts at all to excruciating pain and bleeding and bla bla. And, since im getting them done at the same time im sure the 2nd peircing will hurt a lot more because of the fact the 1st piercing already irritated the area and made it swell and stuff.

Does anyone know ? Does anyone have these piercings ? And give me your stories and pain levels !

i don't remember it hurting but my ear lobes were red.

I got my ears pierced when i was 3 months old. I got 2 more to add on when i was around 12 and those barely hurt. Im HOOPING that i do have the high tolerance for pain i think i do, so that it wont hurt that much. But im willing to go through pain because eventually it wont hurt and it'll be worth it. Im also getting a tattoo the same weekend. =D Im excited for that as well, and I know that ones going to hurt.

Steven has two eyebrow piercings next to each other.

Shrugs* when I thought of this, I thought of gauges. I have an industrial, which is a gauged piercing (of course) and I've gone down to two's for my ears. I also have had anti-brows (which were soo cute. Now I just have my eye-brow piercing (which closed up today, so I had to shove something back through), industrial, and 6 ear-lobe piercings.

I'm getting over the piercing stage... waiting to get inked. :]

My friend did her industrial herself. She loves piercing herself for some reason. She has about 9 i think on her face that she did herself, and shes done her lips at least 4 times.

Im getting tatted next weekend ! Im hella excited. Im getting it on the back of my neck, which i know is painful but im just gna suck it up lol.

The lip piercings will close up right ? I know if i take them out right away they will, but say they're in for like 2 - 4 years and i decide i dont want them anymore, they'd close up, right ? Cus my mom sweaaars they wont and now shes kindof convinced me that like her ears, they will be permanent holes.

I pierced my own ears, and that's it. ^_^ My friends are doing their own tattoos with needles and ink, haha. Silly them. I would never do that, b/c it's permanent, and if I f**ked up, I'd probably die with the regret of it.

I don't know. If I don't wear ear piercings for, like, 4 months (which I have done before), my hole gets SUPER TIGHT, and it's hard to stick in a piercing. It's basically like not having a hole, I guess.

I have two friends with septum rings and I went with someone to get her tongue pierced last week. I got my first holes done in my ears when I was about 14, and seconds just over a month ago.

Personally, I can't say I have any interest in any piercings other then more in my ears. Maybe I'd do my bellybutton if my stomach were flatter, but meh.

The weirdest I've seen were surface piercings on people's arms or foreheads.

Ugh no idea, yet. I definitely do not want ANY words or characters (I just don't like them very much >_<) but possibly a lightning bolt for Harry Potter behind my ear and some other tribal / abstract design on the back of my neck.

I don't have any face piercings, but I know a number of people who do. I know someone who got a surface piercing on the back of her neck...I don't know what its called specifically, but yeh.

And pierced yourself/themselves (your friends)? That sounds scary to me.

As for getting inked...I wanna get my 2nd tatty soonnnn. But that would be a 2nd tattoo to hide from my parents...haha.

I have quite a few piercings.
I used to have snakebites, but they weren't straight so i ended up taking one of them out.
I hardly really wear any of them now, i also have my nose pierced, i hardly ever wear that either.

Only thing i've ever pierced myself is my earlobe, wouldn't dare do anything else, mainly scared of infection and stuff!!

I do have more piercings.
And one tattoo.
But hope to get more tatts soon.

i currently have

labret, tongue, medusa, monroe, septum

i've retired
snakebites, single lip piercing, bridge and vertical bridge.

my single lip piercing i had for about 6 years, and it closed up after about 4 weeks of taking it out.
i had my snakebites done for over a year (i just took them out 2 days ago) and it took a whole less than a day for them to say "buh bye"

be careful getting piercings side by side done together. it's not smart, and there's a chance of migration... not because they're done incorrectly, but because your body fights to heal them both at the same time, and usually fails.
it's better to do them with about a 2-4 week difference between the two.... a GOOD piercer with MORALS will not pierce somebody twice in the same general area..
give your face some time to heal the one before getting the other one done.

i know it seems more hardcore to do them both together, but... it's just not the safer route.

I made a huge mistake in getting my piercings about a week after another. >_< It was so annoying to have to meticulously wash and care for them EVERY SINGLE DAY! D: I'd say let the first one heal until you're comfortable with it, then get the next. It'll look cool anyways! X]

Yeah thats prob what Ill end up doing then .. but i think ill look stupid with just one piercing. For some reason two looks like it would suit me better. But, for the sake of my lip health lol im going to get them done seperately.

My oh so supportive friend wants me to get them done at the same time cus shes a very negative a-hole who says ill look like a dumbass with the classic on piercing.

And just wondering, can the piercing i get when i actually get it pierced be a stud ? Or does it always have to be a ring ?

Ugh - I think piercings are disgusting and don't understand the point of them. I've got friends with piercings all over their face and they're gaging their ears - ugh. I just don't understand the appeal! Next thing you know, it'll become trendy to sew your mouth shut!
