Okay, so I've just got my hard lenses at long last and what do I go and do? Lose one of the bloody things.

Anyone here wear them?

It about killed me when I first had them put in. I thought the optician was trying to blind me with hag-nails or something.

Oh maaan...I cannot believe I've lost one.

It'll probably turn up just as I finish paying another $100 for a replacement.

Which is precisely why I'm going to sit here, surf some Createblog and then casually glance under my chair and see it lying there all pristine and undamaged.

Ha.

Yep, i was in the back of my car, and i was drinking a cream soda and eating pretzels.

next to me i had the control to the radio two seconds later it disapeared.

i look for it by my creamsoda and pretzels --not there.

3 seconds later......i look again and it's there.

i was like whoa !..

lol random.

My friend got contact lenses and then she was trying to put them on in the bathroom stall at school and dropped one in the toilet.

Omg. I've just spent five minutes straight laughing manically.

My missing contact was in my eye.

...

Pffaahhahaaaha!

I'm so happy I don't care how embarrassing that is. Turns out, the contact had gone west and hidden beneath my lid where I couldn't see it. Oh...sweet relief.

I wear hard lenses.

And yes, you only get one pair. You wear the same ones constantly.

Wouldn't you be able to feel it if it was under your eye? That really bothers me when that happens.

I broke my right hard lens a few months ago. Mine are specially made to specially treat so they were more expensive.
