I think they look nice. They are a little plain though. The basic feel of the forum is very plain, and kind of depressing. I mean, have you tried adding colors? It definitely has potential to be much better

I like the banner, the tech feeling. However, it looks plain. Add something that is appealing to the site that way people can visit it. Maybe even add like some sort of background? Pattern Background? Something...?
