How can you honestly judge whether a person is or is not Mexican just by looking at them, Jason? Hmmm?
Of course people are going to generalize others. I mean, there's no definite appearance that constitutes as a race. My friend's Mexican, but she looks like she's some other race. BTW, some people get ethnicity confused with nationality. If a Spanish person is born in Mexico, that automatically makes them of Mexican nationality (I believe... but I'm not too familiar with the way things go over there in terms of citizenship), but they are of Spanish descent. TECHNICALLY it would be correct to call them Spanish and/or Mexican. That's like calling me American, Chinese, or Vietnamese. |
