Sidekick Plans. Options

This question is basically for those who own a sidekick and the plan for it.

So, I'm deciding to get a sidekick + a plan for it.

On that site, I'm kind of confused.

If I get like a plan like the "Get More" plan, can I go online/web browsing/text msging without additional charges?

At first, I thought you have to buy the phone bill plan + the data plan (online/web browsing/text msg/etc.). Do you? or if you buy a plan and it will have free web browse/texting/etc. like the "Get More" (since I'm looking more at that plan). Is that right?

yea your pretty much right.

When you get the data plan it will have free web browsing and unlimited text messages.

But if you dont get the data plan, you will have whatever free text messages that come with the original plan but you wont be able to browse the internet, and plus if you use aim they will charge you for incoming and outgoing messages.

my friend has a sidekick 3 and she just took off her data plan cause she never really uses the internet on her sidekick. Then she switched to just an unlimited text message plan. The data plan i believe still costs 20 bucks.

But sidekicks arent up to date with their competitors a.k.a iphone or the blackjack, in my opinion i would wait until the next sidekick comes out which is the ZANTE, then from that the sidekick 4 will come out which has a huge screen. They wont be too long from now. Sidekicks are a little overrated, the verizon enV is so much better and now is much more skinnier and has different colors. But whatever floats your boat.

I just want like a regular plan with unlimited text msg's i hope (If it does include in the plan), since I doubt i'll hardly go on the net.

I didn't know about ZANTE and sidekick 4. o.O Interesting...

I also thought of the EnV but I'm currently using t-mobile carrier so I can just easily switch the phone/plan.

i have the sk. But i didn't sign up for the plan ($20/month). And i have unlimited texting, so it doesn't matter.
