Dear createblog,
When I first started creating layouts I was excited. I felt great everytime I got one layout to work after hours of trying... Then when I submitted them to createblog... I got rejection after rejection. Your petty standards are pushing designers away. Why do you want all the layouts to conform to the same exact organization, style, etc.(i like squares, not circles). They are all neat, clean, etc. But who wants a layout that looks like all the rest? I definitely don't. and I'm sure no one else does either. And to be honest with you all: you have ruined most designers creativity (well mine) by making boring layouts the standard. ALSO WHO THE HELL HAS THE TIME TO CREATE A PERFECT LAYOUT... no, no, if we could create perfect layouts: don't you think we'd be getting paid? not sitting at create blog. It's time you all realize that not many designers on createblog are professionals. I am not. and if all you can come up with when you critique a layout is: the text should be in a box not a circle. then you are LAME. if you can accept layouts that absolutely SUCK and are not even aligned right, then why can't u accept the different ones that are aligned right? I am fed up with createblog.

Is that the only thing written? That's not a good reason for rejecting a layout so can you provide some examples?

That's fine and dandy, but submissions aren't going to be accepted simply because you submit them. Could you please link some of your layouts so people who know design and other stuff can give their input?

btw that comment about approving was not to you steven it was an add on to my message.... I did not realize you responded until after I extended my rant. I don't mean to rude or disrespectful but I'm just really upset.. I killed 5 hours within two days to make the thunder layout. same with the lips one.

I gave you things to improve on. I didn't mean to come off as rude, if I did.

words instead of boxes don't look neat...yet the 1028291 million layouts with shitty blurry jpg images do

makes sense, makes sense

^The images are automatically optimized so there isn't much one can do about that.

---

I'm going to accept the thunder one. That's a poor reason to reject a layout as using boxes is a personal preference and I don't see anything wrong with the layout.

Also, don't forget that screenshots look best if taken in full screen mode (F11).

It doesn't mean we should reject them because the submitter decides to save images as jpegs instead of pngs. If the quality is horrendous, I can understand that as a reason for rejection.

i never said that those who approved the layouts were rude or mean. In fact I like both karmakiller(i'm not mad at you... I understood the lip thingy and changed it) and IVlike as people. It's just your all advice was a little difficult to change in the layout except for the lips being pixelly because it would ruin the layout ideas.

oh thanks for accepting my layout(the thunder one) thats the only one I really wanted and thought should have been accepted..

the lips one I understood was a little crowded. and messy.
