I was in the same situation, and from my experience, it's not good to give it another go. I still hang out with the person it was with, but we have a lot of friendship/jealousy issues. Trust me, it's still ongoing and it's been about a year and a half to two years. I thought I couldn't live without her, but she played too many games. If I were you, stop letting her back in. Like me, it'll just hurt you in the end.

You know, I'm gonna be honest, I think that seeing as how she's probably a junior/senior, and you're in 8th grade, that she lost a bet.
Something along those lines. Like you know, you "girlfriend" goes and tells her friends all about how gullible you are and plays around with you just for fun. Something along those lines. Looks aside, even if the dude was really good looking, I doubt any senior girl would date a 8th grader. |

first of all, that will be enough arguing in this post.
second of all, i'm a freshman. third of all, i've decided not to give her another chance. but now she wants to know if i'll at least go to homecoming with her. i think it will complicate things, but she insists it wont. and to the whole "ugly" thing. i'm not attractive, i'll be first to admit that. but however i do practice good hygiene. i do take daily showers. i do smell good. and to the person who thought she lost a bet: probably. but that bet has cost me in the long run. so, new question. should i go to homecoming with her? |

If possible, go for cold turkey.
I despise my last ex for some personal reasons and know I can't talk to him or deal with who he is as a person without busting out in some argument. He tried to patch things up with me a few days back after a year of silence between us but man.. Last thing I need is to deal with him for the rest of my days. Same goes for you in this situation. She's too much problems for someone a few years older, forget feelings even if she holds a lot of the things you miss. So just lay it out for her that she's no good for you because of the cheating, lying and any other crimes people usually wouldn't want to find or forgive in a person. You'll find better folks out there if you try hard enough and when you do, you'll think back to this and wonder why you even thought about giving that crazy chick ANOTHER chance. |
