I've seen a couple episodes and I just don't see why the "nerdy" guys are taking direction from that skinny, makeup-wearing, fuzzy top hat sporting guy who refers to himself as "Mystery" (which reminds me of a seahorse in and episode of Spongebob) blink.gif

What do you think about it?

Uhh...yeah, he's strange. Like, really. But he does have this thing
"down to a science". I honestly think these guys will find the right girls eventually and I haaaaate who he says "the old you dies now", because really, I didn't see very much wrong with the way they were.

And Mystery is SO not hot and neither are his wingmen, but ehhh, I guess it takes more than looks to get the girls, because from the first episode, it looks they did. (But hey, editors can do miracles.)

I'm not on VH1 enough to know what's going on. So could someone enlighten me with some information?

The Pick-up Artist is a reality show on VH1 which focuses on male contestants who have historically been unsuccessful in love and relationships learning the art of the "pickup" as taught by Mystery. Mystery calls them his "students" and he will provide them with guidance and training in meeting women. The show takes place in Austin, Texas and premiered on August 6, 2007.

They should've found a different guy than Mystery. I remember when they painted their nails black like him, ew. Why?!

laugh.gif yup, and shes like "two family members died."
thats end of a conversation right there.

once you get over how ugly mystery and his gang are you see that he really does give some good advice.

I want Joe W to win!
I wanted Spoon, but he kicked himself off the show.

I remember peeping this show while in Hawaii. It actually seemed interesting, though, I still probably wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for being on vacation. I haven't kept up with it since, but whatever.

Yeah, I remember that Katrina part. That was pretty dang wack.
They had some fun pick up lines though.

"Did you know 95% of girls masturbate in the shower?"
"Oh really?"
"And the other 5% sing in the shower. Do you know what kind of songs they sing?"
"Uhh... No what?"
"You must be the girls that are masturbating in the shower then. sly.gif"

^LOL.

I saw an episode of it and I thought the dude was kind of weird. He doesn't seem like the dude you would get advice from, lol.

Anytime I talk about this show like no one has a f**king clue about what im talking about.

Who else watches it?

I think the show is amazing on how a former geek turned a-hole wearing gay clothes who apparently has given himself the right to teach other losers how to get laid.

Anyway, I've never seen the show. But I know my best friend watches it.
And I probably would watch it, if I actually watched TV.
