or crack
very addicting.

So, ive barely done online shopping ever, only for a few things that I couldn't buy in stores and whatnot. Lately ive been browsing through the web and coming up on these shirts/sweaters/shit etc ... that you can rarely find except for in major cities like New York and San Francisco or whatever ( and i live near frisco, but usually the shit i want is all gone ) and i get these like crazy urges to just buy hella shit. and my friend got really into online shopping and now is hella in debt and shit and i aint tryna have that happen to me. But some things i just have to haaaaave. And i dont want to be bothering my mom for her credit card all the time, and i dont want to end up paying hella money in shipping and taxes either, cus over time it can really add up.

Boooo.
Who else has had this problem ? Or knows someone.
I know people who owe thousands from those tv shopping shows as well as online. One of my friends moms had to be cut off from hella money in the bank and shit cus she was addicted.

Dude, no kidding. I get so sucked into shopping on Amazon.com more than anything else. It really is an addiction.

Also, threadless and thinkgeek. Did I mention I'm broke? This is a horrible topic for me to be posting in right now. xD

i've never had this problem because i don't trust sizing charts at all. i don't trust my monitor's colors, i don't trust how thick the cloth is, or what it feels like, or what it looks like close-up.

i think the only thing i've ever ordered online is my phone from letstalk.com and even then i went into an actual store to go check it out.

get your own bank account and your own card? it might be better that way -shrug-

yeah i reallllyy worried about the sizing charts too, cus im a fat shit and never knew if their large was actually like large enough for me or if it would fit half my arm. but ive gotten my measurements before from musicals and quince fittings ive done, and i just check the clothes i already have for their measurements and try to go from there. I usually only buy it when it mighhhhht be a little bigger when i really want it really bad and i cant get it anywhere else, and they have no other size cus i can fix it and make it smaller. if its smaller ... then im fat and can sell it.

I really want some of these things tho, i think my heart yearns for them lol jk.

We've been having an ongoing discussion about a site that some of us visit.

I really need to learn to save money. On Friday, I randomly go and put down $260 for a video iPod that I really don't even need, and as if I don't have enough shirts, I just ordered 3 more tonight.

Since there aren't very many places to get good turntablism equipment (at a good price) around here, I usually shop for that stuff online.

It's usually cheaper, and hey, it's actually kinda exciting waiting for and getting a package in the mail (as long as it doesn't take too long).

But, I guess I've been spending more money than I usually would. A lot of that being spent on vinyl. I've bought a couple hundred dollar's worth of vinyl in a two months... Though, I control myself by not buying anything else until after I at least recover the money I spent and keeping at least an 'x' amount of money in the bank.

If I had the money, I'd be shopping online like craaaaazy.
As for sizing, I'm a bit paranoid too but if its from a store I've gotten stuff from before, then I can usually figure out my size from there of course, so yeah.

online shopping always screws me over. last time i had to order a computer battery and when i got it, it didn't work and i had to exchange it and crap. 2 days later i ordered a suit from vs; not only did it go on sale the next day, but it also took me 30 days to receive it which was AFTER the day i needed it.

This is something that happens to me frequently. When I wasn't working, even if I had the urge, I'd have no choice but to squash it. Now that I've got a check coming in whenever I see a sale online I go ballistic. As Dani said before, the Threadless sale really caught me. I mean, come on. Who can turn down graphics tees for $10? NOT ME!

Except this time I did, because I had no money. I spent it all on bras and sweaters from Old Navy (did I mention bills?).

Damn cell phone overages..

I'm not allowed to order anything online. pinch.gif I'd like to though since sometimes I don't like annoying workers bothering me. I want Threadless tees so badly. (Because I REALLY REALLY don't have enough shirts already. rolleyes.gif ) DFNSDJFNSDUFNEFNFFON4R084NRE. D:

Yeah, when there are sales i pretty much wet myself. Hottopic has these sales where clearance is 50% MORE off. I bought two pairs of shoes for a total of 22 bucks. Two REALLLLYY cute pairs of keds. It actually is cheaper when they have those kinds of sales tho, so i dont feel too bad.
