So I had to go to the ER after stepping on a piece of glass that was huge. Everyone thought I might have to have stitches, but it wasn't so. I however had to get a nasty tetanus shot in my right arm.

I woke up this morning with such a pain... As if someone gave me a froggy instead of a shot. -.-

So, the point of this is... Whens the last time you had a tetanus, what happened, and did it bother you as much as mine is bothering me?

Man. Those things make my arm feel like a 100 pounds. Theyyy hurrtt! I had to get one done a couple of years ago, just a regular check-up shot thing, and it hurrttt bad! Yuck.

Did really help curb my fear of sharp pointy things, also known as needles, thats for sure.

Tetanus shots aren't too bad, IMO. Last time I got one was a few months ago, after cutting my thumb open with my shears at school. mellow.gif
My arm was sore later, but when she gave me the shot, I was fine.
Needles don't bother me too bad. Though, I'd rather get my blood taken anyday, than get a shot.
Even though, the nurses usually can't ever find my veins, and it takes forever and such. Thats always funnnn _dry.gif

Urgh. Shots, getting my blood taken...any of that freaks me out. I am not a fan of them at all. My arm always gets so sore afterwards!

Last time I had a needle stuck in my arm was when I was tested for TB (being in a hospital and all that). I had to get one in each forearm!

But whenever I get a shot, I always ask beforehand for a thin needle if possible.

I used to haaaaate all needles, but I'm pretty much over that, though.

I think the last time I had a tetanus was before I went to Costa Rica, and I had 3 shots at once, so I can't really say which one was worst...

I can't remember the last time I got a tetanus shot. The last one I had was for TB.

Getting blood drawn freaks me out though.

You know, I wasn't sure if it should go in health or not.. But I figured if I placed it in the wrong place, it would get moved, rofl.

-P.S- My arm is STILL killing me. I sleep on my right side a lot, and I tried napping, and kept waking up in pain from turning over on my right side. (!)

Suprisingly, I have yet to get a shot that makes me hurt or ache or feel like 100lbs of arm, other than a novacaine shot, but that's the intent of that. A few weeks ago I was walking around this house my parents bought (as an investment property) and I stepped on this board that I thought was seemingly safe, but there were apparently nails (so I found out) sticking straight up, and one went right through my shoe and poked my foot. Luckily, it didn't go through the calice.

Oh my lordie.

I got my tetanus shot last year. I was so freaked out, after I got the shot I passed out. Then hit the counter, then the floor.

I was out for a few minutes. My face was all messed up. I almost had to get stitches on my chin, I still have the scar.
