I'm a HUGE fan of Neil Gaiman, so I had to watch this.. and I did on Friday. Pretty amazing, even though the changed helluv details. It was pretty good, though, better than I expected. For those of that watched it, what did you kids think?

I really wanna watch it. Seen the previews a few times, and I AM a fan of fantasy.

It's only just coming out here in Aus.

I went to an advance screening the Wednesday before it came out, and I really liked it. I didn't think it would be as funny as it turned out to be, which was a pleasant surprise. Charlie Cox was adorable, and Michelle Pfeiffer was good as well. I'm always glad to see Rupert Everett, but Robert De Niro just stole the show for me. Claire Danes' character (the fallen star) was kind of irritating in the beginning, but she came around in the end.

I also liked the song that played during the end credits, Take That's "Rule The World". Overall I thought it was a really entertaining film.

I'd never even heard of the book before they started promoting the movie, but ever since the trailer, I've wanted to see it. That could *possssibly* be tonight, but hopefully this weekend.

Oh, and Michelle Pfeiffer + Robert De Niro = throb.gif

They definitely expanded the hell out of Captain Shakespeare's role (DeNiro) in the transition from novel to film, clearly for the sake of humor... but it was all in good taste.

The movie looks really interesting. I was planning on seeing it, even though I'm not a huge fan of Claire Danes. _smile.gif

1. I saw this a long time ago and JUST REALIZED that Ben Barnes aka Prince Caspian IS TRISTAN'S FATHER (when he was young)!

2. Robert Deniro is awesome.

But I loved this movie. I liked the adventure. + henry cavill's presence [albeit unflattering].

Gahh!! you're riiight! laugh.gif

Anyways, I loved the movie, I read the book when I was in middle school so when I saw they made a movie out of it, I freaked out...then re-read the book all over again. x3 I thought it was better than the book actually. Usually, whenever I see books being made into movies, I like the book better, but for this one, the movie was more interesting.
