we need some more rock-artist inspired layouts. Im talking bands like: HIM, Lamb Of God, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Dragonforce, Kamelot, As I lay Dying, Bleeding Thru; ect. Where are all the rockers out there? Where are all the metal heads? let's have some more music-inspired layouts in general to represent your favorite artists!

This sounds like more of a request. If you want to see them here, make them! I know for a fact that theres not many metalheads on these boards, esspeically metalhead designers, haha. (That's probably why I call myself the only staff member who's a metalhead). We don't take requests anymore, but I guess if you really wanted you could make suggestion to designers via there cb profiles... so this will probably be closed.

And about this topic. We are all a little bitchy because there are so many ignorant people these days that dont even take the time to read the guidelines, they just LOVEEE creating topics, which the design staff have to close.

The reason I'm being bitchy is because you haven't been here for that long, which means you don't know which users like to make rude comments/bash members. That user that posted about your music selection likes to make rude comments. Alot of us are really decent/kind people, but a select few here like to start chaos. The only two mods I've seen respond so far are Robbi and Steven... and a few others ^_^", and they haven't "jumped in" and "bashed" anyone. Also, how can we not know what is going on this thread considering every post is out in the open? Unless you and Podomaht are having some sort of argument outside of this thread via PM or in person, then there is no way that we "don't even know what was going on in the first place." Please do not come in here and assume that we are all negative assholes.

I do like Dragonforce; I went to one of their shows about a year ago, and it was awesome. <3 I also enjoy Pink Floyd, so music is music. It's just a preference. No need to get defensive about what music you or someone else likes / dislikes.

I do suggest you read what Kara (alovesopure) responded with about Myspace layout requests. Otherwise, it would be nice if someone came in here added more band layouts. *hint hint*

i've got an idea. how about you put yourself in one of the designers shoes? what if every other day you got a request from someone saying they should make more this and make more that?

it's like, f**k dude i've only got so much time to devote to a bunch of 15 year olds on cB.

not to mention, a lot of us arent into metal. so why would we make layouts devoted to it?

sorry! Not many are interested in making that layout. the best thing you can do is to ask for request through profile or there is a thread that teaches you to make it. either way is fine. there's no way we can make/force people to create certain layouts.

Dear, no one is trying to insult "metalheads." If you wish to see more of these layouts, be a darling and make some more yourself. Many people who dedicate their time, energy, and eyesight to making layouts have other interests besides metal. If you really would like to see more, then request one for yourself or contribute to this site.

Also, it's funny that you say more people would prefer layouts with "this kind of music" when the majority of layouts I see nowadays do have razor blades and emo-glamour. Maybe it is the majority...?

Your post is a little irrelevant to the reason this thread was made. Createblog tends to appeal to the masses, so the layouts we have here are the layouts that people who come to this site want to use. If you know anything about Createblog, you'll notice how many users we have compared to other forums, so I think we're doing just fine. By all means, if you want to learn how to make layouts check out the Resource Forums. We have some layouts here with Metal bands, you just have to look.

^^ i agree. support all types of music and like everyone has said no one can be FORCED to make layouts. try making some of your own....maybe people would like them...and as for people on cB being assholes ...there is an option to join, if you don't like it, simply, leave....
