I definitely do not want one.

Maybe when I'm 24+ or something. I also HATE the idea of being pregnant. Ewgh.

As a person with an incredibly large gut, I agree. My back hurts, my ankles are swollen, and I cant see my soldier!

Girls who'd want to walk around for months without seeing their solders are just sick.

Babies are a huge responsibility.

There is no way I want a child right now. I would have no way to support it. I'm 17, and still have 2 more years of high school. Bringing a child in my life at the point I'm at would only cause me more problems and stress.

Sure, babies are cute. But no way could I ever have that responsibility on my back.

I think wanting to have a baby at 17 is the same concept as wanting to have a dog when you're 8. You like petting dogs and you think it's so cute when they sit on your lap while you watch tv and the idea of walking them and teaching them tricks.. but then you have to pick up its shit, remember to feed it, deal with if they don't know how to excrete waste outside, etc. etc. and then you don't think about when you become busy and just plain forget about. When you're 17, you're still a teenager and although I think the coolest thing about having a baby at such a young age is that you'll be young when your kid is grown up and personally I think that's the coolest thing ever, it's your job to enjoy life and not really worry about if your child is sick or if they need 60 cookies by tomorrow.

You want a baby because you think they are cute and love you.

They wont always love you.

Wait 13-15 years.

It's a rude wake up call.

Plus i had to carry this baby doll around for a whole day at school. It was such a hassle stubborn.gif . and it wasn't even real.

So you're insinuating that pre-teens/adolescents will hate their parents?
=/

Iono why people always say stuff like that. I've always been mega close with my mom. We've been through a lot - and I couldn't fathom ever hating her.

And I personally loved parenting class. Learning about human development, learning about pregnancy, giving birth, raising a child etc... was a lot of fun, and quite insightful.

I've always wanted kids at a young age. Lots of kids. I'm a big kid at heart anyway.

Babies require ALOT of attention. Yes, they will love you. But you have to love them alot more. They're helpless. They can't take care of themselves at all.

Yes, I do want a child. But I'm waiting. I'm 16. Two of my friends are teenage mothers and they have them work cut out for them. Just be careful.

Not now. I can hardly handle my brother and he's 7 let alone an infant. I'm not financially or emotionally ready for a kid at 15.
