I know exactly what you mean. I like the smell of new books because the smell of the pages is so strong. Not so much for old books, though. Sometimes they smell kind of mildew-y.
Barnes & Noble is my favorite store in the world for a reason. laugh.gif

I like the smell of new books. Not so much old books, though. You never know what kind of smell you're gonna get with old ones. My geography book from last year (I got one of the old copies) reeked of men's cologne. It gave me a headache whenever I used it. I should have gotten a new one.

Even some of the new books have bad smell. I recently bought the REA book for APUSH, not to mention the paper quality, but it smells hella bad.

The smell of a book is one of the first things I notice when I open up a book.

I like the smell of new books better than old ones. Some old ones smell funny mellow.gif
