As you may have heard, Hurricane Dean is near the Coastal Bend and Mexico. I was wondering if you were in a situation and you had to evacuate quickly in case of a hurricane, what would you take with you and why?

I would unregrettably take my Playstation 2 and collection of Playstation games, no lie. I can't live without gaming. XD.gif

Haha evacuations. I don't think I would evacuate. When Rita was coming, we didn't. We didn't budge for Katrina either. If Dean comes our way, we're not moving. (I live in Houston)

Anyways, if I had to evacuate, I would take my laptop/ipod/essentials.

It didn't barely rain on the northeast side of town :)
I guess I should have specified where in Houston, seeing as it's a rather large city. Regardless, I know the southwest/west parts went practically untouched. I walked my dogs in the hurricane. Regardless, we had 2.5 million people evacuate and I still decided to stay put regardless if the hurricane was going to come.

I've had to before and I just took some books so I wouldn't be bored, and we smuggled our animals into a hotel once when we didn't have our RV to go to Georgia in.

It sucks when you lose everything, but the important stuff is your family.
