My parents don't like me buying video games and refuse to buy them for me sometimes. Has anyone ever said "No" to something you really wanted, what do they think is a waste of money?

Yeah. I was at Mohegan Sun and we were using up our points and buying the things that we wanted. They had like 300 points left and they didn't wanna buy me a 30 point invisi drum set! They said it was a waste of money but my dad bought a gps system...

Sure, when I'm clothes shopping, gadget shopping, especially. Hah my parents think nothing is worth anything. I really had to pressure to earn that iPod.

Uh no...not if it was anything big..I usually just explain why I would need it.
And for video games.. my dad collects them so I've never been turned down from those xD and well idk I think what you described sounds like me xD I can't stand it when my dad's girlfriend goes on and on about how her kids have to many toys but when we go to a store she always buys them another one >_> |

That sounds like me when I go shopping >.<
I don't really ask for anything, so my parents never tell me that. I remember once when I was five or so my parents went into Toys R Us to get something for my little brother and I found this shopping cart thingy and carted it around the wholeee time thinking I was taking it home. My dad took it from me and was like, "I'm going to cash this" and he just put it back on the shelf and never told me. I spent a day looking for it before I realized he never actually bought it.

That means you're an incoming freshman?  This rarely happens. I never ask for anything OVERLY PRICED. My mom will buy me clothes from abercrombie and stuff. Just, not like gucci
