Round FIVE Commences!


Congratulations to Mark (The_Markster) with this layout that won the FOURTH Round of LMDS! To add a little twist to the competition Mark cannot be eliminated in the next round!

Unfortunately, one person had to be eliminated. After the vote was cast it was determined that Reili (talcumpowder) didn't meet this round's cut. sad.gif

The fifth theme is... FILM NOIR!. Take a blast in the past guys and get creative!

PM your submission to ALL of the judges, not just one - that way in case one judge is missing, we still have all of the entries at the deadline.

RULES:
1) No use copyright images
2) It cannot be a layout made in the past or submitted anywhere else
3) Must be appropriate content and fit the theme
4) No generators
5) After each round, remaining layouts must be submitted to cB
6) Submissions cannot be just an image, they have to be coded as well

The deadline is to be Sept. 3, 2007 @ 11:59 EST. A little more time than last, but that's becuase this round is a little more demanding. You have a little more than a week.

Holy crap, I was quite nervous on that round, I'm still in? =X

I'm quite good it's longer right now since SCHOOL starts on the 28th for me. Gotta get ready and focus on school. =X

Why is it that everyone but me can actually do other styles? I should've done a totally grunge layout and pretended like I was seven and making mud pies. Actually . . . I should've just left the header like it was originally. It was blue. X3

You guys all suck, but I love you anyways. XP

No I mean like...whatever they said they were trying to do...the style that was supposed to be not theirs...you know? Some of them are kind of in the critiques, but not all of them.

Basically Film Noir (style-wise) is all greyscale with a COUPLE or less colors pulled out for emphasis. Or completely greyscale/bolack angsty-ish kind of _smile.gif

Sin City is done in Film Noir style.

Yay! It's extended.. Hopefully I have some time even though I still have weekend homework, gah..

I was going to post and PM you yesterday. I had piles of homework on the first week and had so many quizes today. So, I was busy all week and couldn't do anything else other than homework. >=o
