Ok...as the title says, I need some suggestions/opinions.
Keep in mind I'm not going to go spend 10 bucks on mascara, even if it's the best thing in the word. So basically, try to keep it simple. Something cheap-ish I can find at Walmart/Target/Walgreens. 1. Do you own/use the new limited edition lip stain from Revlon? What does it do? Is it anything like lip gloss or lipstick, or something completely different? Does it dry out a lot, stay kinda liquidy, or turn into slime? Details! Was it worth the money or not? 2. I need good eyeliner! Something that doesn't smear down or out. It also has to stand up to some occasional dirty work...such as gym class. 3. MASCARA! I have problems with this because when I find one thing that makes them longer, it clumps, doesn't seperate the lashes, and just looks downright like a glob of ink on my eye. If I find something that seperates PERFECTLY and looks ahmazing, it doesn't make them longerrr! What does it generally do? Worth the money? 4. Hair softener/mousse/hairspray. Anything to make my hair softer and shinier, without weighing it down. Shine/soft/a bit of volume, that'll keep my hair straight. Detailsss! How quick do you go through it. Worth the money? Oh, please explain how you use it. Hair wet, dry, damp...blow drier, straightener...be specific! Thanks in advance. Please don't reply if you haven't tried it... |

Lip stains literally "stain" your lips. I don't have Revlon's, but I know how lip stains look/work.
Imagine eating a cherry popsicle. When you're done, you're left with a red colouring on your lips; that's the kind of effect a lip stain does. It's not as glossy or sticky as lip gloss, but doesn't act as a balm or lipstick as well. It's more liquid-y at first, and as your lips absorb the stain, they're left slightly more moisturized, but not much different from your original lip's texture. |

drugstore.com is a good place to check out products and read reviews and stuff, so it might help you find what you're looking for.

1) No sorry
2) Oh I think that Maybelline Expert Eyes/Styli Stuff (I think is what it is called) works really well. It only smears in the corner of your eyes, but the rest stays on well. You can smudge it if you purposely want too, but if you don't want to, the stuff holds up pretty well. You can get it to go on thin or thick. I think it's harder to go super super thin. I think its about 3$. Way worth it. 3) I think you might want to try a clear mascara if you want no clumps and good separation. Great Lash sells one. Also Maybelline Intense Volume XXL works great! I don't think I ever get clumps, but it does make the lashes longer. This is about 7$. Semi-worth it. Also, if you use just a regular mascara, use a toothbrush you never use to get out the eyelash clumps. It works pretty well. 4) Two words. Sebastian Lamenates. CLICK HERE :) -edit- Specifics: I use this to get rid of frizz and make my curls look smooth (this can be done when it is damp or almost dry) I have also used it before I straightened my hair and a little afterwards. It works pretty well, but it really doesn't give that much volume. Uhm, I have had the bottle for almost 10 monthes, but I have been using it off and on. It lasts pretty long. |

1: i have a lip stain (not revlon but hey they're all the same) and i looove it! usually you can use the stuff as a blush too. but be careful with application as it stains your fingers as well. its not a gloss nor can you goop it up. it absorbs into your lips and leaves a light, lasting color basically staining your lips. i would apply it with a tissue and then use a clear gloss over it. so glam!
2: have you seen revlon's color stay eyeliner? i use it and i swear it's permenant marker lol. its totally water proof and it smears pretty good. what i love to do when i smear is put it on the inside of my lash line and then rub my eyes. perfect smear! then line the inside again for deffinition. you can always use your fingers too. q-tips have never seemed to work for me. 3: 4 words: MAYBELLINE FULL & SOFT MASCARA! by far the best drugstore mascara out there! i've tried basically every drugstore mascara brand and i always go back to maybelline. a good tip is to use an eyelash curler, and then wiggle the mascara brush from side to side as you move up your lashes. do one side then the other and also put a bit on the tops of your lashes. makes the tips longer!! and do your bottom lashes too. completes the look. 4: i've been using herbal essence's mousse for a while and i'm pretty satisfied with it! smells good and it does the job. frizz ease is also a good mousse brand. now softener...if you're willing to spend the money (like $15) then bed head's control freak serum is AMAZING!!! i can sometimes get outta control with mousse and hair spray and my hair gets stiff. a little bit of this stuff and some finger combing makes my hair soo soft. especially the day after hair. been using that stuff for 6 years! invest in some good hair products. like serums (use on wet or dry hair. but when you're trying to get a good blowout, use a ton of it on wet hair before you blow dry it if your hair doesn't blow dry flat like mine). use a paddle brush too when you blow dry. then after use a little before you straighten, and work the flat iron through the hair. voila! pretty shiny hair! message me if you want some more advice. i love beauty stuff and trust me i've gone through a ton of products and i've done everything to my hair, good and bad lol. hope this helped! |

TOTALLY different types of eyeshadow. but lip stains are the same. i've used numerous lips stains and all have been about the same to me. just the color varies. |
