Barely knowing someone yet having such strong feelings for that person that you feel your heart breaking?
 I don't know what to do with myself. It's been almost a year and I've gotten nowhere with him. But I just won't allow myself to give up. Can anyone relate? |

o yea. i know that feeling it sucks... i like this guy and he graduted from my school im going to be a junior so tomorrow hes leaving for UNC and im really sad. i didnt start talking to him till this summer and now im really torn and he knows how i feel about him and he sais that he likes me too but that it wouldnt work out cause im in fl and there will be different people there.. and i understand.. but u know i cant help but feel sad and heartbroken..
i hope it goes wel for u .. dont give up :d |

No, I've never had this feeling. Soley because the person that I've always desired, I'd go after, or I already know them.
I think what you need to do is socialize more with that person, become their friend, act natural, and dont come on to strong. Sooner or later, that person might become attached to you. |

it's been a year and you're still saying you barely know this person? how hard is it just to get to know someone? if you want the guy, go and talk to him, befriend him... be his friend before you're his friend with feelings.
i can't really relate because when i want someone, i get to know them. -shrug |

yikes, yeah i can definitely relate! this guy i've known for like 2 years i'm pretty much in love with, but gotten no where with him. yup i've told him everything and we've had countless talks yet he says he's scared of hurting me when he goes off and dates other girls...ugly ones too! it sucks sooo much. have you told this guy that you like him? besides that, don't wait for him. go find someone else who will make up their mind and really want you. that's what i'm doing now. i had hoped that this guy would've wanted me when i was unavailable but hey, he's a good guy so he wouldn't try anything if i was taken.
see what happens but don't ever wait for him. |

Oh yeah, I had that feeling. I liked this kid for half a year and I barly talked to him. He finally started to like me and we dated for a few weeks. Over the summer he would always text me trying to get me to do things. Hes so annyoing. I cant believe I went out with him. I hate him so much.
Sometimes its better not to get to know that person. Even though you think theirs nothing bad about him and hes perfect, think again. |

Yep, I had this crush on this guy for 4 years and I didn't know him that well. Once I told my best friend about it she started to like him. She told him then the both liked each other and went out. It hurt me like hell. I wish I had told him before she had ever told him.
But that was years ago. |

Well. I've started to talk to him again. But now there's a lot I'm hearing about guys that like me  and it's overwhelming so I'm constantly going back from another person to him. Yet, I know he's who I'm going for.

I can! I've been with my man for 5 years. We've lived together for more than 4!
1 year to me isn't very long. To me, it's the "intro stage." In my opinion if you feel that you know this person well enough and is worth your time, then you should definitly stick it out. Maybe you ask this person where you both stand, that should help your decision. |

it really hurts like
 lol. the first girl i like, we're never in a relationship and we rarely talk so it's not that bad. the second girl really hurt me badly. it's because i'm spineless and never gave her what she wanted. she replaced me with a freshman guy in our senior year. i couldn't recover for like 6 years. the third girl really enjoyed hurting me. this time i realy did my very all. i took risks. money, family, financial, every aspect of any problems i tackle. just to be with her. but she did hurt me like i dunno maybe 5 times harder than my gf. thank god i'm still alive after that. i'm trying to recover somehow. it's just that it's hard. whenever i meet other people they want a relationship with me badly. whenever i say i'm not ready yet, tehy turn psycho bitches... dunno my advice is someone will be the perfect atch for u no matter what. you don't have to look for them... maybe they're closer than u think and u don't even know
