Your polish just got dried or is getting old. Add a few drops of nail polish remover to the bottle and give it a good shake. You can continue adding polish remover till it's the right consistency but do it sparingly. Too much will make it apply on watery. |

buy nail polish thinner. It fixes all nail polishes. Driep up or every problem.
Use a basecoat. It helps your nails from turning yellow. |

don't add polish remover. It chips off faster.

I never liked revlon, I say you go for Sally Hansen! She has the best nail polish. Try using an extra coat!

You can continue adding polish remover till it's the right consistency but do it sparingly. Too much will make it apply on watery. DON'T use nail polish remover! I tried using some with my (expensive) nail polish. It's a quick fix, but in the long run, your nail polish dries out even faster than before and leaves it more goopy and smelling like crap. Instead, buy a nail polish thinner. But, since your nail polish wasn't even that expensive, you might as well buy a new one. You can use polish thinners for more expensive/hard-to-get polishes that you want to revive. A few thinners: http://www.nextag.com/nail-polish-thinner/search-html |

I only ever had cheap polish I got for a couple of bucks so whenever I wanted a quick polish, it was fine with me to use it. However, if it was like a 20 dollar bottle of Dior polish... then no. They make nail polish thinner?!? |

In the future you might want to open the nail polish before purchasing.

With some of my old bottles, that have gotten a bit gooey and harder..
I stand the bottoms in water; not tooo hot but just warm enough. For about 5 - 10 mins. They come out a little more runnier and much more manageable ![]() |

add eyedrops. It thins it out and works everytime. Add little by little, you can always add never take away. Sounds weird I know, but it should help.

When nail polish goes gooey it's really hard to get it good. Buy some new stuff, I'd say. I have loads of pots of nail polish that aren't finished 'cause they went gooey.
Make sure the top is tightly screwed on, though. 'Cause the air getting to it is what makes it go gooey. |

I always check my nail polish between I buy it. Because I'm cheap like that... and I know people love to mess with it when it's on the shelves.
