I haven't had my period in almost two months. I'm not pregnant, and I think I may have got it today - but something came out and it seemed like blood, but then it stopped. Could this be my period?

I hope so. I have been so worried. Hahaha.

How old are you? For younger girls around the ages of 12 and 13 their period can be very irregular in the beginning.

How long have you had your period and how old are you? For some girls, it takes a while for menstruation to become regular. Sometimes, I'll only see a little bit of blood, and after a day or two, it'll stop. You aren't the only one. :P Stress is a huge factor and it can delay your period.

I've had it for longer and mine is still not regular. Make sure you aren't giving yourself a hard time in terms of diet and sleep. For me, once I started going to school downtown and started commuting and walking around campus, I was a lot more active and it became a little more regular. I suppose you can include exercise in there as well.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Let it come.

The first two years I had it, it was regular.

Now it keeps getting earlier. stubborn.gif

Its probably just your period, nothing to worry about- it will get normal, eventually..

My period was acting weird this week too. Sometimes the weather can have an effect on your period, so much hot heat can make things go out of wack sometimes.

some women have very irregular periods...if u've been stressed lately then that could be the reason for an irregular cycle...but either way, i would advise u to talk with ur doctor, or ur mom at least

It just sounds like your period is irregular.
Don't worry, happens to everyone.
I have irregular periods, too.
Usually the cause is nutrinion deficit.
Drink lots of water, eat your veggies and fruits.

Unless it's coming with unusual menstrual cramps and etc, you're still okay.

For girls still looking at this topic...
It's really really normal to have irregular periods.
Unless you're over 16 and your periods have been normal then started being irregular, you have nothing to worry about. Even then, a lot of times it's just the way you're body is.
I think we worry too much about it. Damn the stress. :]
Also, a lot of girls have their periods around the same time as their close friends/sisters and mothers do...so if you're feeling weird, just talk to a close friend or sister, seeing as mothers are usually the hardest to confront. rolleyes.gif

Yeah - I have been sooo stressed lately. I have completely changed my sleeping pattern, & my eating habits. I've lost 10 pounds in the last two months. All of this unintentionally - except the sleeping part, I knew that was changing. But I see now why I was so late. :]

You might wanna get birth control to regulate your period (if it is so irregular).

Yeah. I will be 18 in a year, so I guess I can wait. Ha. Maybe I'll convince my mom before then. Who knows.
