ok.. so i think i just got my period :'[
but i dont know for sure.. one day i went to the bathroom and my underwear is brownish.. is that period ? =/ but if it is.. how do i tell my mom ? i think it'd be kinda embarassing if i just say "mommy, i got my period".. -_- i dont know what to do ='[ but what im asking is.. [1] do i have my period ? [2] if i do, how do i tell my mom ? should i just let her find out herself when she does the laundry ? =/ i really dont know what to do.. please help me ! |

Its brown probarly because it is dry blood.
Just let your mom know, its totally normal. All girls get their period and shes your mother so she will help you buy pads and tell you more about it. Don't be shy |

Thats really odd
 When I got my period, it was red. Brown? The menstrual fluids are probably dried. Theres is nothing odd about telling your mom you started your period. I told my mom straight out. "Mom, I think I got my period." Theres nothing strange about that

hmm yeah it could be just discharge. would this be your first period? (aww!) cuz if it is, when i got mine it was like a trickle of nothing. and yeah it could be brownish. just tell your mom! yeesh! you're growing up, if this is the worst embarassing thing to happen to you then you are the luckiest person in the history of growing up lol. but if it gets to be weird, like lumps and it starts to hurt when you pee, i would get that checked out, it could be a yeast infection.

Just call her in the bathroom and ask her in private. Do your pee have a redish color? Then you probably is.

Just let your mom know. It's not a big deal... she's a woman she'll understand. Even if it's not actually your period it's good to let her know. Don't let her find out through the laundry or by seeing pad wrappers in the trash, lol.

Its probably your period, the first one is always super light.
I know its embarrassing, but just find a way to tell your mom. Just talk to her alone. |

Usually moms want to know when their daughters get their period because they can finally have something in common with their daughters. It goes from just being a period to becoming a bonding experiance. Tell your mom.
