pixel/bitmap fonts in photoshop

i installed silkscreen into photoshop and everytime i use it its not readable.
i use it at the suggested size. anti-aliasing is off also.

is there a way to fix that?

i use silkscreen [: change the font size to 8 and change the style to none

sometimes it looks how its supposed to and other times, like that.

Maybe it could be the resolution of your PSD file. The usual resolution is 72 DPI.

Try 9pt if 10 doesn't look good. If not, reset the font tool and try again.

this happens to me a lot in photoshop, now i use photoshop to make the image and then use MS Paint to do the small fonts

that happens to me too.. i have to reword what i am writing. sometimes it looks better with 10 letters. sometimes it looks better with 17 letters. it makes me mad.
