Hi, I've recently joined createblog and have added a tracker to my myspace account, however when I look to see whos been on it, it just says anonymous. I clicked identify ip and it asked me for username. What username???? it very unclear and hasn't got any instructions.

You do realize that to identify the person further (as in identifying their myspace username), is against the Myspace Terms of Use. So, "anonymous" is as far as your gonna get... unfortunately.

You have to do a little detective work - mostly by seeing who posted comments when. Double-check that against the times on createblog tracker. When you've found out who it is, ID the site by entering the friend ID of the person who visited.

If they don't leave you a comment of some sort, you'll never know who it is.

There isn't any way of really identifying who was on your myspace. It's against the myspace TOS. And Honestly I wouldn't worry to much about who's visiting your myspace. But since there are still people out there that wonder and worry there are trackers. The createblog tracker along with many others only shows the IP address, which can help with locations of where the person is from or at least where the computer their using is from _smile.gif It use to show the defualt pictures but since myspace has been changing a few things around it doesn't work anymore.

Also you can check out this topic and look at the FAQ's _smile.gif

yeah, trackers are sketchy. i think a lot of people would be PISSED if one could actually know their s/n. i'm sure people would think i was nuts since i randomly click on their myspace to hear their song or something like that more than once a day without thinking it was my 10th visit blink.gif
i use sitemeter. it tells the ISP location. it works if you connect the dots

^Yea thats how our tracker is, if you just search around and such and connect the dots you can figure out who visited your page _smile.gif

How did you fix it? I am having the same problem... I can't "re-identify" because the person the IP belongs to does not have any of those sites.
