No, I don't have texting, so I use my cell phone for the use of calling.

I'm not that big of a fan of texting. Maybe it's because I'm not very good at it... hahaha. I like calling better because I can hear the other person's voice.

A phone's a phone... it's your choice to do as you wish with it

I actually hate talking on the phone. I prefer to text with my friends. If it was something important I'd call.

i don't text because i don't have the subscription.

i'd much rather text when i'm asking people what time we're meeting up or where, just for short information that i'd rather not waste minutes on. also, i'd rather text when i'm at work because calling people is much much more obvious.

I got a friend who hates being called. Her text plan has 3000 texts on it and she nearly uses all of them each month, which is kinda ridiculous lol. Anyways, she texts almost everyone for her main form of communication when not hanging out.

Texting is silent. If you haven't found a need to communicate silently, then give it a few years

I can't text. My dad blocked all incoming/outgoing texts. So all I can do is call stubborn.gif

I agree that you shouldn't use your cell just to text, but it's definitely more convenient to do it sometimes. What if you don't want to have a full conversation and waste 5 minutes?

Because sometimes there is not that much to say.

No joke, if someone only has a couple things to say to me I rather them just text me and get to the point. That way I can reply whenever I damn well please, and I'm not stuck on some dead phone conversation.

sooo truuuue! AGREED.

Texting is cheaper, you text someone earlier then calling because texting is not that personal xD
