My sex ed was in 4th grade.
I went to a strict Christian school, so all they taught us was the reproductive organs and what each gender produces in order to make a baby.
I never knew what intercourse was until a couple of years ago.

Ours was pretty lame. If they said anything it was basic things that we already knew. They didnt really go into detail or anything, they didnt even explain the risks/std. I wasnt satasfied at all.

we didn't uhh have THAT much information about it. I guess my health teacher just figured thta we already knew everything anyways. ermm.gif

but uhhh i mean, all that we LEARNED IN DEPTH was the life cycle...and she told us to use condoms even if we're married.

that's basically it. zipped.gif

I don't recall getting one in elementary school, but in 8th grade health, she talked about condoms and periods.

we got so much info..it was kind of TOO much.

like we got photos of infected genitals, videos of teenagers pregnancies, our teacher brought in actual contraceptives, and even flavored/speciality condoms! she took it a little far.

and since she was such a liberal she didn't stress abstinence, just birth control and whatnot.

We had Sex Ed in my Health II class. The teacher did a really good job of covering a lot of the topics involved.

I remember all these videos and pictures and he even brought in a couple of speakers from the hospital and Planned Parenthood. The course was really informative and stuff, so I was satisfied and don't think that it was a waste of time (there were some who did)

I didn't have Sex Ed as an actual class, but it was tied in with Health. First time was in 7th grade, or maybe it was 8th; I can't remember. Despite the immaturity of the class (giggling, etc), everything was explained quite well.

11th grade: All forms of birth control and protection were discussed; we even had an abortion debate at one point. We were also shown pictures of STD infections. That's one way to get a bunch of teenagers to use protection or practice abstinence-- show them what a raging case of herpies looks like.....

the first time sex ed was taught was at the end of 6th grade. basically there was a movie shown on basic information about sex.

then the next time was in 9th grade. the class was informative; diseases and things were taught but contraceptives weren`t really talked about.

i live in PA but idk if it`s more democratic or republican.

The first time our class had Sex Ed, we went straight into everything and anything. Basically the teacher took any questions we asked AT ALL relating to sex.

Got a bit out of hand lol

Since then, it's been controlled :]

Sex ed was quite good this year.

Learned about everything we should learn about, especially about STD's and contraceptives.

So yeah, I was happy with it.

Plus we had the hottest teacher in the school teach it to us. XD.gif

She's not teaching us anymore though cry.gif

Don't know if you're still looking for the information but;

In the fourth and fifth grades, we got basic, basic Sex Ed. Freshman year was when we got the whole enchilada. Lessons on abstinence, different contraceptives, STDs, etc. The most memorable part was practicing how to put a condom on...by putting it on a banana. Everything was strictly factual with some personal input from the instructors. Oh, and there was a PowerPoint with pictures! That was...interesting. :/

I hated sex ed.
I had it in 9th grade for second sem.
We discussed everything from abstinence to different kinds of contraceptives, Dating violence, All about relationships, Stages of grief..and *shudder* STD's. And I had to do a power point on crabs and stuff...with pictures. Ugh.
