Something like that is never really a good idea. You never know what could happen. One day everything could be fine and peachy, then the next it could all go to hell. Which would leave you stuck with a tattoo.

You're being incredibly closed-minded.

You might love him, and you might think you're going to be together for ever, but for all you know, something will go terribly wrong and he'll cheat on you and kill your family.

And you still have his name permanently etched into your skin.

SO.

Don't do it, it's stupid, end of story.

You know, when making a statement like "been through hell and back," throwing "literally" in front of it doesn't make much sense, unless you had literally been to the underworld.

I mean, I'm not going to give you the whole talk about how couples break up...you should know that. People often think tattooing someone's name on your body "proves your love". You don't need to prove anything. That's just on the surface.

How many relationships have you had in the past? How many times have you thought you were in love? What would happen if you tattoed all their names on your skin?

Where do you see yourself 10 years down the road? 20 years? Will you still be with this person? This is going to be on you for life.

I think it's extremely unnecessary...you're young...don't make a decision you will regret.

I completely agree with you.

Yeah, I agree with everyone, don't do it. Tattoos last forever unless you wanna go through the pain and money of removing it later on. Then it'll just leave an ugly scar behind.
Trust me, I used to think I'd be with my ex-bfs forever too but stuff happens and things don't go as planned. So just be happy being with him and do other special stuff, but nothing as permanent as a tattoo.

Take your time. Two years isn't enough for a life time tattoo.

I know I'm coming off as a real bitch, but I just wish you would be aware of what could happen. But I guess the only way for that is to actually go through it. If I were in your position, I'd be thinking and doing the same thing. However, now I know better. I've learned that things change and not everything lasts forever.

It would be cool if the kid was born on the 14th...

No on the name. Absolutely not for reasons already stated.
Seeing as you both are sharing a baby together, matching tattoos would be a much better choice. I always find it really sweet when parents have tattoos of their kids names or vice versa.

He says as soon as he finds out the sex he's getting it done if its a girl were thinking Delilah <- he picked that and if its a boy then Milo <- i picked that.
