OK, so i've never seen the movie, but I've been dying to.
I guess it's going to be on tomorrow night on Disney channel.

But i don't get it? what's the big deal, it's just a Disney made
for tv movie. Is it really that good??

The discussion of the movie is here:

I thought it was a good movie, looking forward to the second one.

I'm not too sure what the big deal is. If it wasn't for Createblog I wouldn't even know what it is =X

i love this movie. I can't wait for the sequel. Personally, i'm a sucker for musicals.

And i can't believe how much publicity and money these kids are getting. It's so much. The dvds (deluxe edition), posters, notebooks, backpacks, and concerts.

I kind of knew who Zac Efron was..(I like how they tried to make him look cute even though he's average looking at best), but who the hell was Vanessa Hudgens before HSM? blink.gif

I think Corbin Bleu has the most talent out of the whole cast. Did yo you see "Jump in"? Damn.

vanessa was like background in some movies back then . i`m not sure what tho .

and corbin is fuccin hot in jump in he`s so good !

Ditto.

It's just an upbeat, clean, fun movie that kids, younger kids, can enjoy. It isn't really geared towards the 17-18 year olds, even though I personally have been waiting for the second foreevveerrr, more towards 11-13 year olds. Ya know?

I think it is so popular and such a big hit because it is the first musical that disney channel has done, and there are not a lot of musicals out these days for pre-teens and younger.

mellow.gif

personally i dont see the big fuss but whatever
