I'm not too sure how many of you have heard of the show LA INK on TLC. It features Kat Von D who used to be on Miami Ink. I was just curious if any of you are going to watch the show or if you think it's a rip off of Miami Ink?

I'll watch it - she was always the most interesting on Miami Ink. Unless it ends up pointless, of course. But she has a different personality, and I like her artistry.

It IS a rip off of Miami Ink..but I love seeing the art that these people do. It's amazing! So..i'll watch it. I've gotten some inspiration from watching Miami Ink..so, LA is a whole new realm! Woot!

At first, I thought it was a rip off. But I know it will be different. She's a different artist than the guys at Miami Ink, and plus, she's in a totally different location, so the customers are going to be different. I hope it's interesting.

LA Ink?! Oh snap! Thanks for making this, or else I wouldn't of heard of it. Mos def I'm gonna be watching this shiz. Loved Miami Ink! It's a little ripoff-ish from MI, but I don't think it really matters with this show. It's just another location with the same personality in it. Can't wait to see this one.

Well, obviously it's a rip off of Miami Ink, but I think she's doing this show as a "hell yeah, I can make it without you" kind of thing.
But I'm super excited, because I love Miami Ink, so now it's another one. Except with Kat, who was always my favorite anyway. |

I don't think the show will be a complete ripoff; apparently a bunch of musicians and other "famous" people are getting tattooed on the show--Kat sent around a myspace bulletin awhile back. Godsmack, HIM, My Chemical Romance, and Incubus were among the comfirmed, along with Bam and others from the Jackass crew.

UGH. miami ink tattoo's arent all theyre hyped up to be! i passed by there the other day to check out their tat's because im planning on getting one and most of them REALLY SUCK. some are sood but the majority are horrible.
LA ink is a total rip off of miami-ink. Ami's still flipping HOTT. |
