Have you ever heard of sugaring?

It's some type of hair removal that I just read about. But all I know is you need lemon, sugar, & tap water. So I'm still confused as to what to do.
Have any of you tried sugaring?
Or happen to know how to do so?

I dislike shaving, espcially near the top part of my legs, it's a major hassle. And I dslike having to shave almost everyday if I'd like to go swimming. I've used veet, and I dislike it alot. But not as much as plain shaving. I also dislike having thick leg hair.

Any tips? Or good things to use?
C= thankss

That's probably referring to some type of waxing (many at-home waxes on the market now use the primary ingredient of sugar), I found a more detailed explanation/recipe here, which is very similar to yours:

I looked up sugaring yesterday, and it sounded exactly like waxing, just you make the "wax" yourself with sugar and lemon and stuff like that.

The problem with it is that you have to let your hair grow a certain length every time so it can actually stick to the goo and be pulled out.

I've never heard of it either, but I think I'll stick to shaving. I don't want to have to wait for the hairs on my legs to grow a certain length before I can "sugar" it. ermm.gif

I think it may just be used as another form of wax. I hear a lot of people prefer to use Veet, b/c it doesn't smell like Nair, and it works well. I personally just use a razor b/c it doesn't bother me at all.
