ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THE TRACKER WORKS?

-I DONT WANT TO PUT THE CODE IN ABOUT ME, BECAUSE I DONT WANT ANYONE TO KNOW I GOT 1 xD!
DOES IT STILL WORKS?

-I VISITED MY PROFILE FROM MY 2ND PROFILE AND MY TRACKER SHOWED THAT MY MAIN PROFILE VISITED ITSELF
IS IT BECUASE IS THE SAME IP ADDRESS?

alas..I have deleted my tracker, but I wish to thank Micron for all the hard work that was put into it, a community based tracker isnt what i expected, the new features are simply defeating the purpose, what was a useful tool has now become a toy for users by simply assigning ip's to random people. I miss the original tracker. Thanx again Micron for the effort. :)

I have a quick question. I put the tracker code on my page and went to it a couple of times to make sure it's working. It's logging me as living in Florida. I don't live in Flordia. Did I do something wrong when signing up for it or is it just a bug that will work itself out?

It's your IP address, more importantly, your internet service provider. Mine says that I live in VA, but I live in FL. The problem with that is it should work itself out. But it's up to the ISP to work it out.

I live in North Carolina. Where it's mapping me at is about 15 hours away from me. So when other people visit my page will it track it to the right region? Or does that all depend on the other person's ISP?

maybe you already reached your daily limit since you're not an official member. I don't know the limit for regular members. Maybe like 500 hits a day. But I don't know. Micron changes that number very often lately.

Hm, what are your current settings for your tracker? Are you sure that you didn't alter the code in any way? Is the tracker visible on your page? If your myspace is private, the code is not supported yet for people that arn't your friends to be tracked.

well if he is not gonna answer why does he bother

Is this tracker for your myspace?

If it is, the tracker will not track people that are not on your friends list.

yea is for myspace
and ohhhh.. but still my friends had posted comments on me and the tracker still shows only 2 views, but those 2 views r my own! well maybe is bc my page is private

Hm, I would suggest deleting that tracker, and starting over by getting a whole new tracker code.

well its working now i got a new view it says charrolton a city close to mine, but it says anonymus IP how am i suppose to know who it is -.-'

Yes, it tracks by IP address. Not by the page that visits it. But you can identify the IP to a certain myspace page, but only one. If two seperate people are using the same computer. You can only identify the page of one person.

my myspace page has been identified twice, and once very wrongly!!!

I don't know. You wait for them to identify themselves. Or how many people do you know from that city that visit your page? sometimes you can narrow it down if they left you a comment, or sent you a message around the same time that the tracker says they visited your page.

and then after that i click on identify IP and put their usernames?
so ican know who it is next time>?

Yeah, after you identify the IP it should stay the same person, unless they or someone else changes it. If you have any other tracker help related questions, you can just PM me.

What do you mean this page? =\ You can change it by clicking the "« Re-identify this IP" link
