That's right. I am. Gone for a month at camp, but now is back. So like, here's my question to you since its summer time. AREEE YOUU READDY?

Have you gone to overnight-summer camp before? For how long? Did you get home sick? If so, how did you cope with it?

:)

fyi, howdy y'all!

Welcome back Anastasia! flowers.gif
I've gone to MANY overnight summer camps, and I didn't get homesick until I actually caught a cold from swimming in a cold pool and then going outside in the hot sun. I went for two weeks at a local college for a performing arts camp.

Never went camping. I don't know, it sounds a little fun but i know there's all these downsides to it, especially those right-in-the-woods-with-the-bears camping...maybe I'll try it someday.

HI ANASTASIA! wave.gif

Three days, two nights for a tolerance camp called Camp Everytown. I didn't get sick; I did, however, gain five whole pounds. The food was free and really, amazingly good.

I've been on week long + camping trips 5 or 6 times. 3 night ones, like 15 or 20 times. Most recently went to california to go white water rafting and camped out two nights there.

I've been to sleepaway camp before. One was a horseback riding camp since I really loved horses when I was younger. The other was a regular sleepaway camp. I got a little homesick both times but I just talked to my bunkmates and made friends.

As for overnight camping, I've done that too. It was with my best friend's family, for three days and two nights. We saw a doe and its fawn by a pond. It was very pretty. :)
