So I invited one of my new guy friends to go to the mall with me, and he said he could come. We had a time and place and everything set up and it seemed fine.
Long story short; he ended up not coming and lying about why he didn't come. He didn't even call me to say he wasn't coming. So my question to the guys is; Is it typical that guys break plans? Should I take this as a message that he doesn't like me or is it common for 15 year old guys to ditch girls without even so much as a phone call?

Maybe there's a good explanation for that?
That has never happened to me before. :T So, I'm not sure what to say. I guess just don't judge or get super-angry until you talk to him again. |

im afraid of dithching girls so i wouldnt pick up the phone if they called me or call them. He proably wasnt allowed to go and how embarrasing is it to tell a girl that.

Actually, only one guy has done that to me but he had a pretty good explanation. It's either he's really busy or he doesn't like you.
The guy I'm talking about is my soon to be ex boyfriend. He does that A LOT. At first, he didn't call to tell me that he wasn't coming but when he found out that I was really mad, he changed. Bleh, losers. |

How far in advance did you make plans? Sometimes when I make plans far in advance, even sometimes a week in advance, I get so busy that I completely forget that I was supposed to hang out with someone. Maybe that was the problem. Maybe he just got so busy and tied up with things that it slipped his mind.
Or maybe it didn't seem all that appealing and worthwhile. I mean... I don't really like going to the mall to hang out with people, in all honesty. If I go to the mall, I want to shop... and majority of guys [or at least the guys I know] aren't too keen on shopping. |

My ex boyfriend did that to me, when we were going out. But he said EVERYTIME "his family was coming over and he couldent go" and texted me he couldent come..he did it like 5 times. We are no longer together =/

Ok. Well I just found out that he was too lazy and wasn't interested in hanging out with me, so I got one of my friends to kick him in the balls for $10. He got it on video too. So I'm happy now. Thanks guys!

Does he have a cell phone? Is he close to his family? Is he single? Does he play sports? So many things he could have forgotten to mention to you and something may or may not have come up that could have been more important than chilling at the mall.
