Sorry to use the 'that was then, this is now' argument but it is. You're not asking that question to the exact same group of people who were present when those 3 incidents occurred.

I agree with Kryo... to a certain extent. No he's not alone; believe me, there's a lot of people who agree with him but just don't speak up because they're afraid of being gang raped by all the mods.

I really, really love the community on here, but I feel like there's a definite respect system based on popularity, and yeah the staff does seem like a bunch of nazi's. This site seems like a school more than an online forum. Every time people get into heated discussion, it's forced down by mods who are not any older than the people involved and yet they act like teachers who deserve more respect than everyone else. Sometimes we do need to bash other people and there's things that need to be said (that are being prevented from being said).

Kryo, quite honestly, I don't think you belong on here though. Believe me, I'm not new to trolling (and this place is seriously the easiest, most perfect place for trolling ). If you find a good forum that's been desentisized to shock images, brutal honesty and extreme political incorrectness, tell me (that's not YTMNSFW).

I'm an extremely sarcastic a-hole. People have told me that to my face. However, when someone is asking a question that WE all know is stupid, but the topic starter honestly needs help with, I can just stop and know that my sarcasm is not needed there. It doesn't make for any more interesting conversation, and it doesn't help.

And honestly, I hate to say this (because I feel I've heard it too many times), but...You never know what people have gone through and what personally hurts them.

I know from experience that it's not that hard to stop being an ass for at least two seconds. These "bashers" know when not to post...They just need to stop being immature and actually press the back button before they press "Add Reply."

Once again, I'd like to put my input. Kryo is not the problem, and he is not the topic of this thread. Although I do not care much about what Kryo does, etc., by arguing with him back and forth in this topic, it just shows how much attention we give to him.

I think what Diana was originally upset about was the lack of respect, honesty, and genuine answers to members who ask, yes, immature questions from a lot of people - not just one.

It does appear to be a trend to troll nowadays on cB. IMO, most of the people who do it are completely pathetic. The only few that I personally have seen that have been actually successful at it are SeonHo and Kryo. Others are pretty lame, and their comments are stupid and not even remotely funny. And while I do find some of Kryo's posts funny, etc., I do not agree with how he constantly, relentlessly argues with the mods.

I think when one person responds first to a "stupid" thread w/ a sarcastic, apathetic remark, that causes a sort of domino effect - it makes everyone fall down from their usual standards of kindness and also respond with another "witty" remark.

But what can we do about that? The mods cannot just make a rule stating "there can only be a ratio of troll comments to helpful comments of 1:5"

I'd also like to point out that many of the sexual / pregnancy questions are from people who are frantic and will probably never come back to cB after they get their answer. They simply search for a forum that has topics related to sex, and they want an answer fast-fast-fast. Once they get it - "you're probably not pregnant" - they have no more use for that forum.

... Dude, I'm not attacking him, so there's no reason for you to defend him. He's said it before, that CreateBlog's the easiest place to troll and if that's the only reason why he's here, he shouldn't be surprised that people are getting pissed.

I think he should stay, but a lot of cB is very annoyed with him.

cB is probably the easiest place to troll, probably because a lot of the staff are pretty fickle about when they want to enforce the rules, and when they want to change them to better suit each situation they come across. While half the staff is too chickenshit to do anything, the other half comes down way too hard. there's no middle grounds, and it causes a lot of tension. so yes. it's easy to troll because the staff doesnt seem to have their shit together. (no offense to the few people who have done a fairly decent job)

i dont think anyone is surprised that a lot of people are getting pissed with kryo. i think that's the OBJECTIVE here.

the fact is, the quality of this forum, in the eyes of 90% of the old regime, has seriously downgraded, not because of the content or resources, but because of the poor management coming from the majority of new staff members. I think micron has done a great job with createblog, and he probably doesnt control much of what happens here on a more day-to-day basis but i remember when we were a little more "selective" in choosing new members of the staff. So yes, a lot of us "has-beens" (as this thread's creator put it) have a lot to say about it.

When someone is "mature" enough to let a guy finger her, she should be able to withstand some name calling. If she's not mature, but she allowed a guy to touch her in that way, then she deserves to have some sense knocked into her. Obviously, no one else did.

A community isn't about being someone's mother, it's about good people, bad people, and the in-betweens. That's how people learn things. Yes, do control the bad, but to expel them is making this community... fake. A make believe happy place, where everyone accepts what you do as right and no one will think you're stupid for doing stupid things.

If the goal here IS to play "mother", and if I was the girl's mother, I'd appreciate someone telling my daughter how stupid she is. I'm not calling her stupid for being curious about sex. I'm calling her stupid because she's clueless about the consequences of sexual escapades and blindly participated anyway.
