There was this one time in second grade, I got these little sparkley butterfly clips with moving wings. I wore them to school and all the girls liked them. Then, the next week they all had them. cry.gif

It really depends on what it is. Like if it's a design than it will just be that it inspired it. But if it's something like they wanna know what i'm going to wear the next day or getting the same drink, then that upsets me.

^ LOL, I just noticed that in your sig.

Sometimes it bugs me when people copy me, esspecially with things that I say (I have this tendency to make up words and phrases) and then they go around saying that it was just something they made up.

I seriously had a guy that wanted me to tell him what bands to listen to that I listen to mellow.gif He didn't want to be introduced to the music, he literally wanted me to tell him what to listen to. To me, that's kinda dumb.

my other friend was so effing pissed! ORFL

Like Suzzette pointed out, do people really copy people? We're all influenced, like it or not.

Rant coming up.

I mean, if your whole goal is to be original than that's sort of sad. I always thought it should just come naturally. That's what bugs me about some people I know that know tons of underground bands - they flaunt it. They suddenly don't want these bands's music to be shared, and I don't understand that at all. Isn't that the goal of these bands? To spread their music? Why let your own pride stop them? Because when they're suddenly famous, it's like LYKEOMGI'MGOINGTOSTOPLISTENINGNOWWWWWWW. Why? It's the same freaking songs.

And uh, that paragraph had little to do with the topic.

So no, I don't mind when people copy me. I find it cool and flattering.

I totally agree with your little paragraph I have to say, but yeah it is flattering but depending what they do or how far they go in exactly imitating, then it could get irritating.

I don't like it but hey, we all end up doing it at some point. Like Kaycee said, we're all influenced. It makes me think people don't have any original style or sense of their own, but think about yourself. There are times where you would do the same thing too, would you?

Anyways, I defennetly hate it when people copy me. I think it was two years ago that I was like obsessed with tinkerbell and then my friend started to get obsessed with thinkerbell too, its like wtf back off! Now, this year I have the more punk kind of look and I shop at hot topic and stuff and my friend swore to me she would never ever go into hot topic them one day she called me and was like guess what I went into hot topic and baught stuff, I almoast exploded.

I hate when people copy me--be it schoolwork, clothing, electronics, etc. Especially when it's people trying to impress you by dressing/suddenly being interested in the things I like. Annoys the hell out of me. stubborn.gif

UGH. THAT IS WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW AND IT'S PISSING ME OFF SO BAD.

My best friend is trying so hard to be just like me.

So I was going out with this guy whom I've been kind of on and off with for two years. And we finally get back together again, so my best friend feels left out, so she hooks up with his best friend and insists on following us everywhere.

And then she only listens to the music that me and my friends listen to. And NOTHING else. She loves all the bands we love and hates all the bands we hate.

She copies my style of clothing all the time.

Her MySpace profile looks pretty much exactly the same as mine.

She started doing rant columns when I did.

She lost her faith in God because I was Atheist.

She cut her hair exactly like mine!

She even copied my style of typing right down to the punctuation marks!!

She has the exact same views on politics and other issues as me, and she's NEVER disagreed with me on ANYTHING even when I trick her into believing something that I don't mean and then say what I really mean and then she'll still agree with me.

Errrr. Okay, just had to get that out.

SO YES IT BOTHERS ME A LOT. I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND ANYMORE; SHE'S MORE LIKE MY CLONE.

Oh gosh, I do hate it when people do that to me. But I just laugh. Sometimes, when I'm really annoyed I'll just give them a dirty stare.
