there is such thing as TSS= Toxic shock syndrome.. but only if you leave it in there for a long ass time.. or mlonger than reccomended.. other than that you dont have to worry about it getting lost.. but i wouldnt use it at the end of your period cause then you think its done and can accidently forget that you left one in there.. happend to mee... luckly i was okay.. lol the string went up... hahahahaha

I used pads from age 11 until like age 14. I had to stop using them because I started becoming allergic to them. I don't why. I only stuck to one brand and I changed them a lot. Oh well... I'm glad to be rid of those.
I prefer tampons now though. I don't have any issues with those. Besides, tampons are good for threatening people. If there's a guy pestering me in an annoying way, I threaten to yank out my used tampon and whip it at him. You wouldn't believe how well that works.

I only wear them at school & if I'm going out somewhere, other then that - I wear pads. I also wear pads towards the end of the week anyway so I don't have to worry about forgetting the tampon. But I don't think it's that easy to forget a tampon anyway.
