if you guys can, can you help me out a bit? im a newb at createblog... im still confused on what the point of it is and how do you make your own layouts?

Well we have lots of premade layouts.
If you'd like to make your own layout check out some of these helpful topics: CSS Stylesheets Tutorial walk-through of making a default layout. DIV Tutorial 1 DIV Tutorial 2

Can you be more specific? When I said what kind of layout are you trying to make, I was meaning like a default layout or a myspace div overlay?

You're welcome.
 That's called a signature. You can go to My Controls at the top of the page then click on Edit Signature. You can put text, images, or flash in your signature. |
