So do you guys have braces?
I do...  I just got them tightened today and it hurts like hell. But my teeth look so much better now so it's all cool. But 4 years is such a long time... *sigh* I can't believe I have to enter college wearing braces... |

i did. i took them off this year; feb. 22  i only had them for two years. the retainers suck though. i don't like 'em but my teeth are soo much better. i love smiling. im sure you'll get your braces off soon. lol, it'll feel slimey but you'll be smiling like crazy. |

I had braces since february and they're pretty okay i guess, except the whole tightening part. >.< ick. But i know it's worth it in the end so it's not that bad.

I used to have them. I had a wicked overbite, so I got them on in third grade, off right before seventh. I'm going into tenth and I still have to wear a retainer two nights a week, but it's not so bad. I have a gorgeous smile now, so it's all good. Hope your mouth feels better.

i had braces on from 3rd grade till 8th.. 5 years yes... and then my retainer brokee.. so i had to put them on january of this year but took them off in may.. so it wasnt too bad.. wear your retainers!!!

I do not have braces. I remember when I was in like 4th or 5th grade.... everyone wanted to have braces. But I never had to have them, I have pretty straight teeth.

i had braces wen i was in junior high school around 7th or 8th grade. I got mine off my freshman year of high school. i didnt enjoy em that much but hey my teeth look soo much better. the down part to haven braces is that i couldnt eat a lot of sweets so wen i get em off i ate too much sweets and got sick off it lol. to this day i cant eat a lot of sweets cuz i'll get sick. now i have retainers and i have those for the rest of my life.
retainers have a good and bad side to them. i can go a month w/o wearing them and put em back in the next month. another thing is that wen you dont wear em for a long time ur teeth shift and it hurts to even put em in. just remember that ur parents are payen for ur teeth. |
