War against tyrannical imperialist governments? Sure! I'm in!! I sure hope you're not throwing that term @ the United States. Sure there are problems, but I'd hardly describe it as 'tyrannical' or 'imperialistic.' If it were tyrannical do you think you'd be hearing from Michael Moore or Al Gore? WAR WAR WAR |

You can learn a little something, look for my thread: "Food For Thought". LOL @ U.S.A. not being Imperial. By the way, Al Gore? Michael Moore? lol Try more like philosophers from all over the world. Including Mark Twain... I blame America's bastardized educational system, not you... so don't get offended. war is completely stupid. i'm completely against it. unless its a major issue like slavery, or a holocaust type thing or something, and/or puts every americans life at risk, its a stupid idea not worth OUR men and women dieing War is for money and power. How come no one here knows the history of the Romans :( Anyone who has historical knowledge would realize why wars happen and what are the pros for wars. |

You know..theres always having light hearted disscussion over a full out debate in every topic ...Just a suggestion. I don't have sympathy for a human. I'd rather save the life of an animal than the life of a human. For example, if Steve and a rat were hanging off the edge of a cliff.. I'd help the rat and most likely piss on Steve for being a fake American patriot. Thanks again for the suggestion though, but I don't conform, because it is my freewill |

I saw your food for thought thread and found it lame. I love how you always say people don't know the truth, or they're uneducated. You're probably one of those people who go around saying someone is brainwashed by the media, or republicans, or george bush, or educational system. How about, I see things that go on and I come to my own conclusion. I know a pretty decent amount about history, and for sure know about the upbringings and downfalls of all the great nations, including the Romans. No one got to where they are by worrying about what the minority wanted. No one tried to cator to all the people in the country that did nothing but complain and leech off the government. No one got powerful by being nice. As to the rat comment, that's nice to know <3 I don't suspect I would be stupid enough to get into that situation though. |

Good, I'm glad you think that, good luck thinkin America is the best country in the world. Pop Quiz! Democracy, where does it come from? What parts did the U.S. adopt and didn't adopt and why? Go ahead Steve... enlighten me... if you can answer this, I'll respect you. Never mind, what I bolded up on your quote... just proves you can't even answer my questions. You don't know much about history, only what they taught you in school. That's obvious enough for me to end my discussion with you. And no, I don't respect you. You're misinformed believing what you believe about history. And Rome was an Empire.. that's what you're basing your knowledge of history on? You're claiming because the Romans were imperialist that all nations (great nations) were the same? C'mon man... that's just silly. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Fire, I'm currently laughing my ASS off. I've got tears in my eyes. I am the last person who should be LMFAOing because I hardly understand somethings. LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Hahahahahaha. Fire = I am not laughing at you Tamacracker, I'm just laughing at everything ... *sniff* Ok... can you explain what you understood? Cuz it seems like Fire isn't able to answer my question about their quote. |

Greece. We adopted the representative democracy because quite simply it was much easier and more efficient to have a group of individuals who represented peoples in different regions of the country, and different cities. We did not adopt a purer form of democracy because it would require people to vote on every single issue that were to arise, and every single bill. That form of democracy would be impractical.
Anything else? edit: Lol I made that comment on Rome because you mentioned Rome earlier. Also, where else do you suggest I learn about history. I don't have a delorian and a flux capacitor you know. |
