No one got to where they are by worrying about what the minority wanted. No one tried to cator to all the people in the country that did nothing but complain and leech off the government. No one got powerful by being nice. As to the rat comment, that's nice to know <3 I don't suspect I would be stupid enough to get into that situation though. |

Greece. We adopted the representative democracy because quite simply it was much easier and more efficient to have a group of individuals who represented peoples in different regions of the country, and different cities. We did not adopt a purer form of democracy because it would require people to vote on every single issue that were to arise, and every single bill. That form of democracy would be impractical.
Anything else? edit: Lol I made that comment on Rome because you mentioned Rome earlier. Also, where else do you suggest I learn about history. I don't have a delorian and a flux capacitor you know. |
