It's good to add onto your intelligence. If someone handed me a book... and I didn't like the topic, I wouldn't just give up on the book. I'd still read it... why? Because it'll just make me that much better, and that much smarter.

As for lack of resources.. well I'm sorry, I work.. and pay for my cable internet, so dunno what it's like to have phone line connection.

When i had meant "we" i meant the majority of the replys in here were unintrested.I never said that "I didnt care" but cause if i didnt care id tell you.Im technically a ex-patriot since i no longer live in the US..so it in a sense isnt a immediate Importance to me that is.

You can go wrong with learning, see An Inconvenient Truth. Learning incorrect/inaccurate/misleading information is not beneficial to most people.

^It wasn't that it was false, more so that it was misleading and skewed truth. This all goes back to the Global Warming argument. Sure the earth is warming up, and sure we're contributing, but we're contributing to a minimal extent and to think we can put a dent in the change of the climate is kinda, dumb. The earth warms up and cools down on a big cycle. We'll eventually hit a climax for the heated area, then the temperature will start to fall again. This process has been going on for a very long time.

I could argue this more but that's in another topic :) I think there's a Global Warming one in debate.
