I love to travel. I travel a lot.

Matter of Fact I just returned about 1 month ago from Amsterdam, Prague, Armenia.

I think that there should be a travel category in Interest.

What do you think?

For now. Lets tell traveling stories right now.

Where have you been? Interesting things that have happen!

Interests is too crowded for my tastes already. >.<

I love to travel as well. Next March I'll be going to Sabah (Borneo) for some humanitarian work, and next July I'm going to Cancun for a grad trip.

OOooo That should be fun. I am suppose to be going to cancun next summer. I hope that it all works out!

^Oooh, sounds fun!

I went to Nicaragua a couple of years ago. _smile.gif It's where my mom's from, and we stayed there for two weeks. It was amazing over there! We went during what they call a "Santo Domingo Feast" and it's so much fun. There's a parade going down a street with people in masks, costumes, and there are even dancing horses! It was fun. I want to go there again soon.

Interests is definitely too full, but a travel topic definitely works.

I absolutely love to travel and I've been pretty lucky, but I can't wait to add more places to my list.
I've been to California (I was born there so yeah), Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Denver, Hawaii for my USA trips.
Canada I've been to BC, Alberta, and Ontario.
I've been to a few places in the Mexican Riviera, and then a few places on the Caribbean side of Mexico like Cozumel.
Then I've been to England, France, Switzerland, and lots of places in Italy for a school trip.

I really want to go to Japan, Hong Kong, Spain, Greece, and more.

Also, what would you put in a travel section? I've been to here, there, everywhere, it was beautiful, the end. There won't be much in the way of room for threads and it will become more monotonous than the boy/girls locker and relationship forum.

Sigh. I haven't been anywhere out of the United States (NOT EVEN Hawaii or Alaska). But I have been to some pretty fun places in the US, such as the beaches in Florida, Disneyland, Disneyworld, San Diego, Chicago, etc cool.gif

^DANG. DANG. DANG. DANG. DANG.

A Travel forum has been suggested before, and basically the same arguments against it have been brought up here again. _smile.gif

I've never been out of country, and have only been to five states total (California, Hawaii, Arizona, Oregon, Washington). Buuuut I will be going to Australia for World Youth Day and be taking a cross-country road trip for Summer '08! :D

8 weeks normally for a passport but you can get one expedited and it will be back in less that 2 weeks. Expediting cost a lot more though

Well, considering that you want an actual discussion here, I won't move this to Feedback, but if you're serious about wanting a new subforum, I suggest you make a topic there.

However, that idea has been discussed and rejected in the past.

Hmm. I live in New Jersey.
In the U.S., I've been to New Hampshire, New York[The State and the City], Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Florida.

As for states I've driven through... All that was mentioned above, as well as, Vermont, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Pretty much the entire eastern coast.

Outside the U.S. I've been to The Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel Mexico, and Tulum, Mexico.

I think that's it...

Well, lets see.

I've been to NY, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Philidelphia, DC, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia (obviously), Florida (Well, I was born there.), Alabama, Mississippi, Nevada, Michigan, and California.

I've also been to Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan. I've been to every city you can think of in Taiwan. Yeah. :T

I shall be going to Australia/Taiwan sometime soon though. Hopefully summer of '09. _smile.gif

I stayed in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia and Lancaster) and New York City a couple of years ago, and I went to Eritrea (East Africa) to visit family quite a while ago. I really wish I could travel more often, and for longer periods of time. I love waking up in a new place and just exploring. victory.gif

I actually lived in Italy with my aunt and uncle for a while, in this town called Pescia about 4 hours away from Rome. I traveled up and down the country - Venice, Milan, Rome, Florence, Vinci, Vatican City, Pisa, and of course my beloved Siena (hence the name)...I would love to go back soon. happy.gif

I would have to say yes!!

Knowing that a lot of CB are photographers, they can take beautiful pictures of beautiful sceneries from all over the world. On top of that, people that go to another parts of the world, can give us pointers of where or what to eat/drink, where to stay at, what places to visit, romantic spots etc...

To be honest cancun kinda sucks because durring the spring and summer months the crime rate goes up and its gets bombarded with drunken half naked americans and pissed off federallies[sp?].Not to mention you have to be really REALLY carefull about what some of the federallies do to try to frame non mexicans.

Sorry if i killed anyones dreams pinch.gif its a beatiful place though.
