So calling a Filipino a Flip is insulting them?

As to if you would call a Japanese guy a Jap, that is insulting.

That's why I don't call myself a Flip, I just say I'm Pinoy or something like that.

And as for FOB, it should be changed to FOP because you know, Fresh Off the Plane! Because yeah, no one really takes boats anymore. laugh.gif

People around my school are weird I guess. The african/american descent people called themselves and others "niggas." Same with the filipinos around there. My friend told me that FLIP stood for "funny little island people". I don't really see of how it is offensive, but then again, no one really knows the history of it anymore. _unsure.gif
