You know how people always say "Don't point a laser in your eye or someone else' eye." Or even "Don't look directly into a laser, it's bad for your eyes." It's actually not. It actually makes yor eye sight clearer. My dad told me how he kept looking into a laser with his right eye when he was a kid cause he was so intrested in how cool it looked. Now, he says his right eye is super clear and his left eye is super blurry. He said he could be wearing glasses if he didn't do that to his right eye. I wonder why people always said not to look directly into a laser. When you get your eyes fixed, what do they use? A laser.

No kidding. I always thought contacts make your eyes better but they actually make it worse. I feel so blind when I go see my eye doctor. I'm getting my eyes fixed next month.

i mean contacts do make you vision better. but back in highscool i got some sort of infection from the contacts because i wore them almost everyday! like it already hurt to put my contacts on.

but im satisfied with glasses though. yeah my eyes are pretty bad, when someone is like 5 feet away from me, they are already very blurry. im glad you are getting your eyes fixed. 2 of my friends got it done and they said its the best thing they've done.

so after you get ur eyes fixed, you'll be very happy. :)

Well you don't really know if it makes your eye clearer. There could be good lasers and bad lasers. _smile.gif

Exactly. If we could just shoot any laser in our eyes why is there a specific types of laser eye surgery and all that mess.

There was a kid in my History class last year who got, like, a bad bottle of solution and it made mold grow on one of his contacts. He didn't notice it because it was so small and stuff and he ended up getting mold on his eyes! He had to go in and get them flushed out and stuff.

I'm still not going to look into a laser.

...ew. :x

This is why you do not use Renu or Complete solution. Alcon Opti-Free ftw! :)

Anyway, I still don't think I'd look into a laser. :T

...a special, medical laser.
now i'm no laser-expert but still...

I agree about what parents say & stuff: "don't look into it"
as soon as i heard that, the first thing i did when i got one was shine the damn thing into my eyeball. all i saw was red for a few minutes but i wasn't blinded. wacko.gif

but now that i think about it, i have 20/10 vision so you might have a point?

that's stupid...there are lasers that can really damage the eye...there is a special laser for surgery [which i might get later]...i dont think one person staring at a laser proves anything

That's most likely a coincidence. I don't believe it.

When they use a laser, it's a CHANCE thing. It's not where YAY LET'S SHOOT A LASER INTO YOUR EYEBALL AND FIX YOUR VISION TO PERFECT LIKE A HAWK. Sometimes it comes out really well, and sometimes you still gotta wear glasses.

Aww Heck. I don't think that there are good and bad lasers. Lasers are lasers. They don't tell you that you can self fix your eyes because they want you to spend oh so much money getting them fixed elsewhere. I've been wearing contacts for a really long time now. My eyes don't get irritated... except for this one time I washed it with water. Ehh... never do that. I use those solutions like Renu.
