ok. there are so many topics like this.. but bear with me?
ok. Facts: was in hottub just messing around only like half of his penis went in; before i told him no. Questions: is it possible? like ya know, that pre-sperm gooey stuff to fertilize? edit;; [in a hottub, mind you.]  other things: this happened like 5 days ago.. & i'm having odd tummy cramps; NOT period related, guarenteed.  help? i'm kinda scared, but i'm sure i'm just overreacting. |

There was probably not enough precum at all to inseminate you. On top of that, you were in a hot tub. I don't know about his sperm, but my sperm kind of fry in a hot tub. Too hot for sperm to live! But if your scared, go get the preggie test. |

There's probably a .01% chance. Your stomach cramps may be due to paranoia. (The mind's a bitch.) If you really, really, really are worried, then get a pregnancy test if your period is late or something. Remember not to stress out too much even if your period is a teeny bit late - breaking the hymen causes hormone changes (I think), and stress also causes period time changes.

honestly, hot tubs have nothing to do with pregnancy. they don't kill sperm, nor can they stop you from getting pregnant. whoever started that was lame.

The quality of sperm is more affected by heat than the quantity of sperm, both of which are linked to fertility and getting pregnant. Men should avoid frequent use of the hot tub when trying to conceive because the testes are very sensitive to heat, which can damage sperm production. The heat can damage developing sperm which may not be fully mature for several months. Sperm count generally returns to normal level within a week of hot tub exposure.

the fact is, you can still get pregnant in a hot tub. dr. drew says that a hot tub does not effect whether you will or not become pregnant, though it can reduce the male's sperm count.

And five days isnt enough to start getting any kind pf pregnancy related cramps. This is true because I was once talking to my mom (who is a nurse and has been pregant 3 times..no four)about a friend of mine and she said you wouldnt have any cramps like that so soon after doing anything that was pregnancy related. personally i'd wait til when when you are supposed to get your period. if it comes, no big deal, and if it doesnt, go grab a test and take it. |

I don't think you should stress it much. There's a very small chance that you would be. The stomach aches and all, probably just from stressing from it. Relax and make sure to be careful next time so you dont' have to worry about these things again.
